Loud noise in background as if in a crowd, very hard to hear what is being said, although I could hear my name and a return call number, but I could not understand his name or the reason for the call or why I should return a call.  I did hear "last call warning" or something like that, and that something would be executed against me tomorrow-  but it's very unclear, and a lot of background noise.

Yeah they are scammers don't answer there calls.  They have very stong indian accents and will tell you good luck to you and your kids.  They must hack computers.  They will tell you that they are from American Collection Services or Crime Monitoring divison

A similar harrassing/threatening call from this number was made to a partner at my firm earlier today from this number.

I received a call from this number also on my cell and my work phone lots of noise could hardly

yes noisy background, lady with indian accent could barely pronounce my name and said, "this is an emegency call, call back quick." I googled the area code and this is one of the results that popped up thanks everyone I will block this number now.

I got a call from this number, they are scammers who claim they are attorneys and will sue me tomorrow and have me and my boss arrested tomorrow. Well it's friday today duh......I played along and asked for a bar# and what state they are registered in.

These guys call me about every two weeks giving me the same scam and that I owe lot's of money etc......and they are going to arrest me in 30 minutes if I do not pay right now.

Claim I got a loan and since it was never paid back I will be arrested Monday!!  Calls will NOT stop.

They are calling my ex-boss and leaving messages and harrassing family members.  When I call the number they leave, they say they are from the Bureau Of Justice and claim there is a legal action against me. They've given 2 names. David McCoy and James Carter. Their accents are very strong and difficult to understand. They claim that I was given money from payday loan. When I've told them I never received money and can prove it with account statement. They procede to read some declaration against me? How do we make their calls stop. Its not only frustrating, its embarrassing.

I attempted to contact a lawyer about this issue and the lawyer never called back. Do you know what can be done to make this stop.  I asked them to fax info or send a registered letter and they told me they couldn't. That I could get info on-line.  please read my posting.

new caller this time - an Indian-esque sounding fella calling himself "Alex Smith"(yeah, right)...had not heard from these folks in a while...i had my brother, who is an attorney, call them back almost a year ago and didn't hear back from them for a while...thought they went away...guess not.  at any rate, this IS a scam...DO NOT give them any personal/bank info...that's ALL they want...to spook you into giving them this info.  Actually, they told me/my brother last year that they would be "sending two men" to my office to arrest me if I didn't give up my banking info.  FIRST, they didn't "two police officers", just "two (random) men" would be arresting me!  LAST, even if you DO owe money to somebody, WE HAVE NO DEBTOR'S PRISON IN THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA.  PERIOD.  I guess it's time to have my attorney call them back and contact the Better Business Bureau AGAIN...argh!

nothing that is filled out online is going to be, in any shape or form, a legal document...this is a SCAM...DO NOT give them any personal/banking info.  unfortunately, making them stop calling is easier said than done

They called me and my friend on our cell phones and said the same. here;s a fun game everybody..... All of us in the office *67 our numbers and call them! Its fun give it a shot just block your number!!! since they are harrasing you its a good way to say whatever you want to them..... just saying i justcalled them and plan on doing so until the day their phone is disconnected!!! their buying phones from ebay and having them shipped to nigeria!! call them everybody !!! call them so much they cant dial out!!!!

Don't be intimidated by these people! I got a call from them as well. Claiming I took out a loan that I never did. They have called a few times now. The last time they called, the Indian character on the line was verifying my social security number. Even though he had the correct number, I told him that was not my ss number. I told him he must have the wrong person. He said ok and said he would make sure I would not not get these calls anymore. I'm a little suspicious, but have not got a call in quite some time.

I got a call from this number and they said I was going to jail because I got a loan from them and it was put into my account and when they tried to get repayment it came back to them as a worthless check. I called my bank and I never received an electronic funds transfer at all. They only said they were with a law firm representing cashnet and they would have me arrested if I did not pay them or if I wanted to settle out of court all they needed was for me to send a fax to their number stating I wanted to settle out of court. At first his name was Tim and then it was Mark Harris and on the next call it was Shaun Riched and the law firm was Williamson in Santa Ana, CA. They could not tell me the amount that went in everytime I asked them a question they would say they could not tell me it would be in my paperwork when the sheriff picked me up and it would cost me 9 to 10 thousand dollars if their clients had to take me to court and if I did not have an attorney the court would appoint me one but I would have to go to jail first. When I told them I had talked to the police they said they thought I was a nice person and he was going to try and help me out and he would call me back in 5 minutes and so far he has not called me back.
