- Renee| 1 replyI received a call today from a Officer J. Webber from this exact number. he went on about how he was going to have me arrested at my place of employment or my residence, if I didn't make the payment of $921.31 by 2pm at the local Walmart. I was inquiring about documentation to support the lawsuti claim against me and he stated that I would receive the information 24 hours after they received the money. He put David Scott on the phone to scare me and to confirm that this is the LAST day that I would make this payment or they will proceed further and have me arrested. THIS IS A SCAM!!!! The more you answer the calls, the more they will try to scare you,...DO NOT BE A VICTIM OF THIS SCAM!!!!

- ReneeI keep getting calls from this number 510-240-7181. They are now calling back to back. They call and hang up and call again. Most collection agencies do not hassle you and call you back to back. They are blowing my phone up...this is kind of funny! They are really trying to see who will fall for their SCAM today...it won't be ME!!! I have not sent them a dime and I have no intention on it!!! They can call until they're blue in the face....

- Tara Mena| 1 replySomeone called my cell phone as well as my number at work stating that they will be bringing the police to my residence. That I needed to call them back or they would proceed. I tried calling the number back and no one answerd. It just rings and rings!
- Karen replies to Tara MenaI received numerous phone calls from a David Scott who would not give me any information except for me to resolve a loan I didn't have and if I didn't resolve it I would have the police arrest me. He called me over 25 times, and from some numbers that didn't work when I called them back. Did you receive any other phone calls? Anything happen since you last heard from them?
- Karen replies to ReneeI got a call from David Scott also who was yelling and very rude to me on the phone. Stating I needed to pay $110 dollars right away and then another like $350.00 in a couple of days. I asked for his address and he refused to give it to me. Got very demanding and rude with me. Have you heard anything more from them?

- Patricia Barrett| 1 replyI received three messages from this number, (510) 240-7181. A man left threatening messages on my voice mail. He said his name was, Officer- John Edward. He called me in regards to a Lawsuit, filed against me, in my name, using my Social Security number. He threatened me with a "Arrest Warrant". He mentioned a Manager of a Business. I don't understand what this guy is talking about. He is a "Fake" Liar. "That's alright". He must be a scammer. I want him to stop calling my phone, leaving messages and harrassing me. I will report this to the Better Business Bureau, ASAP.

I also have a friend with the Sheriff's Dept here, I may give her name...MUAHAHAHAHA
- frustratedWe got 2 phone calls today around 9 am. Both went to voicemail, the first being over 3 minutes of silence. The second call he had left a real voicemail. It stated "his name" David Scott and that my husband's social security number had been used to file charges against him, that if he doesn't hear from us soon, that a sheriff would be coming to our home, even his work. He said in the voicemail where he works, but didn't say the whole name of the business. How do they get their information and numbers?
It really worried me for a second but then I found this. I'm just glad that it is a scam because that would have made for a very bad day.
How do you get them to quit calling?- Caller: bureau of investigations

- brett and amie long replies to Angela Chinamy wife got a call from Albert Johnson, saying she had untill 4 p.m. to pay $dollars, or she'll be arrested at work, lose her job and have to go to court. After talking with him for a moment, the price came down to $200. He said we have to send a money pak, but wouldnt give an adress, email, or fax number until he recieved it. This is very much a scam, he is a good speaker. Dont be fooled.
- brett long replies to lexiI called them 14 times just to mess with them. I told them my name was jack meoff, and generally kept them tied up. the more time they spend on the phone with you, the less time theyll have to scam someone else.
- dTCalling about loan that is not true
- doodleThis guy is scary because he has all of my info. If we all look, we have a common thread but what is it. I have alerted the bank, cursed david scott out and complained to the attorney general in my state. He is some kind of hacker to get all of our info.

- Molly| 1 replyI received several phone calls from 510-240-7181 and 540-943-3040. They left 2 minute voicemails on my phone. They called again while on my lunch break so I answered the phone. The indian accented male said he was Officer John Edwards from the Federal Bureau of Investigation & Litigation. He said my name and the last 4 of my ssn which he gave me was involved in a lawsuit. He asked to transfer me to his supervisor handling my case. He muted the phone for several minutes then the same person got on the phone and said he was Officer David Scott. He told me that while he gave me the lawsuit information I have to agree not to interrupt him. He said an online payday loan company named CashAdvance electronically deposited funds into my account and when they tried to run a transaction for repayment I had placed a stop payment. He said I had three felony charges against me including check fraud. He gave me my FULL ssn at that point my checking account number my home address and my work address. He stated I had 30 minutes to wire a transfer to him or the police would be at my work or residence within 2 hours with the warrant to arrest me. I hung up and called them back. I asked for the mailing address of his "business". The man who answered "transfered" me back to Officer David Scott. I told him I would like to clarify with him exactly what the lawsuit was about. He then stated I could do whatever I wanted that I would have to speak with the arresting officer and not to call him again. He then hung up on him. What a jerk......I work for the same bank I have an account with. I took the rest of the day off. I called my local police department who confirmed it was a SCAM so I filed a police report. I spent numerous hours contacting the 3 main credit bureaus locking down my SSN. I then went to a banking center opened a new account and closed the account they had the number for. I then talked to the REAL FBI and filed a harrassment and misrepresentation of a government official report. Then, I started thinking about it and got mad. I called the number back this evening. Of course they answered as the FBI....I then immediately told then I called the real FBI and police that I know they are a scam and that they could stick up their *** and rotate. He laughed at me and hung up. I called them right back. This time they answered the phone..."Yes Molly?" I told them good they knew who I was and they could stuff it he then said that since I called him twice he would be at my work in the morning with the police. I told him to bring it on.....with a few choice words included. He hung up on me again. I called back a 3rd time and now he won't answer the phone. This jerk wasted my time and cost me half a day of work.....If they call don't give them any info. Hang up and call them repeatedly. muhahahahaha
