Calls and hangs up

Identified as "Fremont CA" - no message

Got a call but hungup when I picked up. ID said out area.

called about 11:45am, recorded message (male voice) about PG&E rates going up, how I can get "free money", then something about furnace replacement... I hung up about 30 seconds into the call.  These people have to be crooks of some kind, as I am on the Do Not Call list, and PG&E does not solicit in this manner.

I was all ready to take the call and answer as "Lenny", but alas I did not get the chance.  It was a robot, "Attention! California Utility customers!"

I hung up.

There's no reason to believe that it would have been anything other than a scam of some sort.
Isn't it illegal to make Robo-Calls??  Except from Political and Religious and Charities and any store you've ever bought anything from, and their cousin.

No answer when picked up. Keeps calling.

Called me around the morning, I called back and it went straight to voicemail. BLOCKED!!!

Thank you for your posts.  I showed a missed call for my area code, so thought it was legit.  I have now blocked the call.  so frustrating.  

I received a unwanted call from this number 510 240 9320 I am registered  on the national do not call list.

Almost all my junk calls are from solar... go figure.

They keep calling but even after answering no one at the other end.

This number came up in my phone randomly I swe it today under AD with a red star saying it was my emergency contact!  I have no idea what this number is & except that I know this isn’t my emergency contact!  Wondering if it had any connection to my stolen old iPhone which I only noticed when some strange selfies of a woman I didn’t know appeared on my current phone & a strange woman’s name also & email addresses came up automatically to be entered when filling out forms online after that - very creepy!
