Some Arab man called me saying he was suing me

GOT A CALL FROM A JOHN PETERSON FROM THIS NUMBER SAID IF I DONT RETURN HIS CALL I WILL NEED TO CONTACT MY ATTORNEY.  ARABIC ACCENT, STATING THAT I WAS BEING SUED.  GOT A VOICEMAIL FROM SOMEKIND OF LAWFIRM BUT SAME GUY ON THE ANSWERING MACHINE.  VOICEMAIL BOX WAS FULL.  CALLER ID ON MY CELL PHONE SAID OAKLAND, CA.

called and said i was being sued

510-355-8737 has called previously using different numbers and the name, "John Peterson!" 510-355-8737 called my cell phone yesterday, (8/16/11:Tuesday) and didn't leave a message. My cell phone is on the "DO NOT CALL LIST" and I've reported this number.

HE CALLED MY JOB AND LEFT A MESSAGE SAYING HE NEEDED MY INFORMATION AND SAID SOMETHING ABOUT MY SS#. iS THIS FOR REAL? wHY WOULD HE BE TRYING TO SUE ME? VERY TIRED OF THE BULL SHHH MESSAGES.

I ALSO GOT A CALL ON MY C-PHONE--HE'S TELLING ME THEIR LAW OFFICES, "HARRISON LAW FIRM" IS SUEING ME FOR AN OUTSTANDING DEBT AND I'LL BE RECIVING PAPERS WITH IN A DAY AND HE'S TRYING TO GET MY INFO SS# ECT....WE HAVE ALREADY CONTACTED THE OHIO ATTORNEY GENERAL'S OFFICE AND REPORTED THIS TO THEM AND THEY ARE INVESTAGATING AND  AND CONTACTING THE CALF. ATTORNEY GENERAL'S OFFICE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! THIS IS A SCAM BIG TIME!!!!!! EVERY ONE NEEDS TO CONTACT THEIR STATE  ATTORNEY GENERAL'S OFFICE..ASAP..   COLUMBUS, OHIO

Got harrassing phone call .  Repeated call 4 times in a row.  Couldn't understand guy but he laughed alot.

keeps calling my cell and work.can't really understand him claims to be a attorney. wouldn't give me any information just kept asking for my attornies info. then got mad and hung up on me.

keeps calling my cell and work.  can't really understand him.  He told me to just listen and do not interrupt while he was talking.  Also,  a law suit has been filed against me and that if I did not want to face court and the legal cost he could be the overseer.  I needed to pay him a total of 1,026.00.
He wanted me to write a letter:  attention Joe Carter  which he worded.  This letter was to include all of my debit card information.  He said the company that was sueing me was Cash Advance USA and that he was attorney.

I received another call from the same guy claiming he was from Harrison Law Firm, this is the second time I have recieved a call, first time was from another number. The guy has an arabic accent and left a voicemail stating that there is a lawsuit filed against to and to contact them so they can get more information from my name. They confirmed the last four of my SSN which is scary. We need to crack down on these people and put them away!!

I got the same call on yesterday confirming the last four digits of my SS#.  He told me I need to pay or I will be sued too.  When I asked him to email me the info, since he confirmed my email address, he said he would in 30 mins, but I never got the info.  I'm still waiting.  I will be contacting the attorney general office on this person.

I received the call as well. Has it been confirmed as a scam?

they kept blowing up my phone!! and telling me i had a criminal case on me for cash advance USA and when i said i had to get back into work he siad MY GOD  your not answering my question.. i called PA attorney generals office they said usually starts outside the US and they cant do n e thing about it...really come one now but they also said to no have ANY convo with them and send them no info

Scam artist.  And a very poor one at that.

It's probably the same man that has been harassing me.He says his name is Mike Robinson.I decided to check this crook out.I found out Harrison Law Firm does not exist! I ran his name through some databases(bar association,bbb,etc.)-there was no attorney by the name of Mike Robinson.He has also tried calling me from some other numbers:(503)551-2866 and (817)404-4061.He claimed a lawsuit was being brought against me for an unpaid payday loan(which is bogus)and that the lawsuit was being downloaded in US District Court.He somehow got my email address and sent me this phony email:it was addressed to someone else!The SSN on the email wasn't even mine! I wish I could find this person and deal with him accordingly,If you know what I mean!

I also have recieved these same phone calls from a John Peterson, Dave Brown..Well I have been calling him everyday...And he has cussed me out and so forth..such a SCAM..anyways..today I spoke with a new person name Elijah, i told him what was going on, he said he just started that job two days ago, and they told him to lie about the address and so worth..He seemed real scared so I was finally able  to get an address out of him, He said he was in New York..The address is 159 Waverly Street Springsville,New York 14141. It is a legite address, we googled it and was able to see a picture of the house, and he even described it, and how many bedrooms and bathrooms..I contacted the Springsville Police Department at 716-914-9300. Explained to them what the scam was about and that I think I have a legite address, he said he would call me if he came about anything.Everyone who recieves these calls..Should try and contact this police department incase it is a legite adress and report it.If enough people call they may actually do something... Let me know if anyone finds out anything
