I am a mid-level marketing executive who recently took on a number of energy drink promotions accounts. The person or persons affiliated with this number began calling me 1-2X a day, identifying themself as Marty Bennet. They told absurd lies, saying that I HAD BEGUN CONTACT w Mr. BENNET and that Mr. Bennet worked with the corporate headquarters of the company employing me. I obtained Mr. Bennet's private e-mail and phone, and bluntly told him to stop. Then he sent me this:

YOU CONTACTED ME AT 1:30AM A FEW NITES AGAIN SO TAKE A GERNADE ... STICK IT UP YOUR ASS WITH YOUR "THREATS" AND THE HARVARD [***] DON'T MEAN CRAP CONSIDERINGBUSH 43 WAS AN IVY LEAGUER


AGAIN .... [***] OFF AS YOUR "THREATS" DON'T MEAN [***] CONSIDERING YOU ARE
A MLM SCAMMER"

Sent it on to my lawyer. 'Nuff said. The positive press above is [***].

I am the attorney for Mr. Reilly and another individual above. He asked me to post here; I find doing so distasteful. However - under my advice - my clients are submitting a complaint for criminal abuse of the Internet to the Internet Crime Complaint Center of the FBI. Our complaint number is 7JCC87*. Mr. Bennet's harassing e-mails are illegal. In addition, there seem to be posts to sites like backpage.com advertising Mr. Reilly as an "Internet scammer" and a crook. This is, as we will prove, libel. Any further such e-mails as may appear will be attached to what seems likely to be a serious criminal case.

Mr. Bennet is the subject of more than 8,000 negative reviews and complaints on the Internet. So far as we have been able to determine, all positive content on this page was in fact posted by him.

Worth noting - one line in the above isn't true. My lawyer is the attorney for me and a guy who appears on ANOTHER site full of Marty-bashing. I honestly cut-and-pasted this here. My client and I received our initial response from the FBI. It appears below.

I will also note that all negative advertisements libeling my client have, so far, been removed from the Internet. The authorities have agreed to immediately trace the ISP of any negative posts containing my client's e-mail or phone number, so that no negative consequences from such postings will attach to him and the actual perpetrator may be traced.

For the record, Tony Penson is also Marty Bennett. There are more than 8,000 links relating to Mr. Bennett on the Internet. The large majority of these are false posts to sites like backpage.com, which show up "flagged and removed" when searched. Most of the remainder are negative reviews.

None of the individuals mentioned by Mr. Bennet are in contact with my client; none even appear on this page.

To state the obvious, I have not been contacting Mr. Bennett. To be a bit more specific, I have not been contacting Mr. Bennett in any of his guises above. Judging from both the hyper-thyroid, prison-library style of the postings and their origin ISPs, "Jack Thorton," "Tony Person," and "Marty" are ALL Marty Bennett. Marty Bennett seems to have a great deal of time on his hands. I also do not plan to contact Mr. Bennett again during the 3-4 weeks that it typically takes to prepare a criminal or civil legal case.

Any postings about me by Mr. Bennett which appear on the Internet during that time will be used in the case, which will be a case at libel for civil money damages. They will also, according to the corporate divisions of Craigslist and backpage.com, be deleted immediately. Mr. Bennet has also been instructed - here and elsewhere - not to have phone or e-mail contact with me. So far, he has not been brave enough to try, much less to leave a message. His kind rarely is.  

Also - and here I'll resist the urge to say something like "as Marty's mother knows" - I am entirely straight and am a singing baritone. Although I am hardly a perfect person in this area, Mr. Bennett's ravings about 'wimmin' and '[***]' are one big reason I've been willing trade piss with this particular skunk.  

This will be my last post to this thread, pre subpoena. I expect it to be followed up by hundreds of posts - all by the same loser pretending to be dozens of different people - raving about how my true statements are lies.

At least one guy above is right - suburban salespeople need to get a life.

The funny thing about the "scanm" [***] on here is THAT MARTY BENNETT SELLS EFUSJON!!! I ork with the company in big-market southern states like Tennessee. He has called me at least a dozen times begging me to use his "Pr service" and I have said "no." EACH TIME, he tells me how much of the drink he sells every week. He says HE WORKS WITH OUR CORPORATE!!! Then he bashes salesmen?!!! This guy is scum of the worst kind. That's about it...and I bet they're right EVERYONE TO SAY GOOD THINGS ON HERE IS HIM. I started following this thread when I saw the exchange between Marty and the two ED salesmen, and am amazed. A couple things are obvious to this ol' gal. First I followed you on the Internet for a while, and there are NO real positive reviews of your service. None none not one. Every positive review traces back to you. "Will and Tony" are right that ISP check is easy and these are almost ALL from Texas near where you live.

And Marty, you DO sell eFusjon. You have called and taunted me that I will go under unless I use your service to sell it. You have said that you talk to our corporate and that you are one of the biggest sellers in the country. You were illegally lying then or you are illegally lying now. I'm posting this whole thread to every blog concerning you. No on e should be allowed to think you are a real businessman.

Also, if the address locations and writing style mean anything Ken and Connie are 'Marty' too. Marty seems like a classic example of what my psych calls projection. Will, Bob, and the other people writing here aren't ballers but they're successful salesmen who probably live in nice homes. I live in a Gregorian in Fox Acres Tenn, and sell this drink in my spare time.

Assuming that 2/3 of the posters above are Marty, Marty has posted something like 25 messages to this board in 2 days. He has a great deal of time on his hands, and probably lives at home. I see him as a soft pink man who's dick gets wet only in the shower. Will, in contrast, posted 2. I've posted 3 and am done. A lawyer posted one. We all have real jobs.
