We have received many sales calls from this number saying that the person is from the Texas Highway Patrol association.  After repeated "No thank you's" the caller became very rude and increased the amount of phone calls.  Finally we told the caller, who called himself Frank, that we were not going to donate anything, "So, please stop calling!" he became even more agressive so we hung up.  Notice the last word on the Caller ID below, is this a coincedence? We think not!

Got same call on 8/18/2008, claimed to be Texas Highway patrol Association

I get a call from this almost daily, saying same thing Texas Highway Patrol asking for donation.  NOW i am getting text messages asking me to call the number.  I have donated in the past and now can't get them to leave me alone!

I got the call on Tuesday, March 24th, 2009.

A Kelly Ware called asking for my boss as well, by name. He wanted his personal cell to "save me time", and that it was important.

The same thing has been happening to us at our BUSINESS for over 6 months now!  The caller(s) get very rude and demanding.  I have put our number on the "do not call" list and keep filing complaints, but the calls will not stop.  I am fed up with it and don't know what else to do!  These telemarketers are ruining the name of the THPA for everyone!

That Kelly Weir has also called our office several times.  He stopped calling and now there is an Alex Fox that will get very rude!

It's one thing if you want to help them, but for them to constantly HARASS after they have politely been asked not to call anymore is a completely different thing.  The harassing phone calls are LESS likely to make anyone want to donate to them.

There is nothing passionate about their sales tactics. It is SALES not "donations" Our county law enforcement advised us to donate our money elsewhere.

Yes spoke with Kelly, asking for our owner. Insisted on talking to them although they are not in. Very rude and aggressive as they are every year. I called and spoke to a "supervisor" and rude as well. I told him our company wasn't able to donate/buy (actually not a donation) this year. He said that wasn't an option and we WILL. He was going to call until one is made.

I just hung up. We are trying to run a business and not be harassed by THPA MAGAZINE.
