Just got a call. I never answer numbers I don't know. Guy with foreign accent left a voicemail saying there was a lawsuit being filed against me. This is a scam. I've been scammed before so please be very careful. By law any debt collector should send a written letter about your debt.

Get these calls about every 3 months. They call for 1 to 2 weeks everyday, 3 times a day and leave a voicemail. Heavy accents and state that I am under investigation for fraud. These people get information if you've applied online for payday loans or other credit cards and use your information against you. If you tell them to send you a letter to prove the debt they hang up or curse you. They also always wish you luck. Hope these people can be stopped someday....

Got a call from this number from a  heavily accented oriental person stating that I would basically be arrested if I did not pay his client back an amount that was deposited to my account last year.  When I hung up on him, he called back and left a very nasty message on my phone (which I kept) further stating that I would not get any information from him by email as I hung up on him.  Then I received a call labeled EMERGENCY ALERT call - so of course I answered it thinking something may be wrong with my husband at work - it was the same guy . . . isn't THAT illegal ? They had my email address and "supposedly" my social security number.

What name are they asking for?  They have been harassing me since last week too.  going to turn them in to the police i think.

They called me again today saying the same thing that was said 3 months ago!! Just what you have listed. In this post! What scare me most is them having our ss#! He was a very rude mean hateful foreigner! Says my life will is heading toward a hard time! Ughhh why??? Are they doing this!!

I have been receiving these calls for the past 4 years every 3 months or so.  They call for a few weeks and then stop calling.  Always foreign and always threatening (jail, lawsuits, sheriff's office).  They will usually wish you luck or say "God Bless" at the end of the call when they leave a message.  IT IS A SCAM.  I have reported them to the police, I have reported them to the Attorney General's office (for fraud/scam).  Unfortunately, both the police and the Attorney General's office state they cannot do anything because the scammers change their numbers so often.  Even if they happen to track down the office buildings they are listed at, they find nothing.  They've either moved on or were never there in the first place.  It seems that there are many of us who have to deal with the stress of having this happen several times a year.

These calls started last year for me. I hadn’t received any calls since last year November and yesterday they called me on 989-5772 no area code. They left a voicemail saying his name is Alexander Black and that he was a sheriff with the Johnson County Sheriffs’ department. I called back playing along asked for my case # with out stating my name or anything and he gave me some bogus # then I called back again and asked why a sheriff would hang up if he was trying to arrest someone and they guy stated that unless I was going to pay them don’t call again and hung up. I called back again and he very mean "DO not call me no more" and hung up. So I called back once again and he said "yes what do you want now" I told him that its illegal to say your a cop and he told me that I will go to jail and be raped because I am "fraud" then he once again hung up. So I called back and told him I was gonna harass him now and he told me he would come to my house and arrest me then take me to his car and rape me and then repeatedly asked me for my breast size my friend was on the call and recording it. When I told him I was recording him he said that I better watch my back and my family and hung up. I tried calling again but this time went to a voicemail saying Ive reached a goggle subscriber. This is nothing but a scam.

well these people are scammers . There's a guy named Jimmy Johnson with a very nasty accent and sometimes the same guy become Alexander Black sherriff officer with different number with the same voice . they are foreigners and their accent is also very weird. SCAMMERS harassing me.

They somehow called me again today and from an emergency phone number which I do not get. He said if I do not respond they will have law enforcement at my home to come and arrest me. I think I will keep ignoring them as they keep saying the same thing over and over and keep saying that I am under fraud investigation. Also they state they are calling from a different company every three months they call. This is getting ridiculous...

After I keep calling and harassing them back the idiots had the nerve to call me again it was the same guy Alexander Black. I decided to keep calling them back about 52 times on Friday. I pissed them off really bad :) They where threating my place of work and saying I was insane and how they are going to sue me for harassment. I keep asking the guy for his cell phone # I was claiming that he was my boyfriend and he gave me someone’s # I called the # and it happened to be someone else who was calling them and "harassing" them as well. Please do not fall for these scammers. I'm not saying call back like I have but if they do call and you answer tell them you know your rights and that it is illegal to misrepresent any legal official, and if you can record the conversation.

Received a call from Alexander Black.....just like the other posts except I told him I reported him to the
C3 (Cyber Division of the FBI)...He hung up!   I called him back!   No Answer!  Definitely a Scam....a lot of
voices in the background like a collections office.   It is illegal for a collection agency to have your ssn#.   Asked where he got it.   Would not answer!     Indian accent I think and phone number goes thru a lot of switches.  Must be in India!.

I just received another call they said they where trying to sell prescription pills with no prescription the # 5126460155! It was the same guy Alexander Black and Jimmy Johnson. He asked me to send him 250$ via western union so he could send them to me ha!

I RECIEVED A CALL STATING THE SAME INFORMATION  THEY ARE BOGUST THEY HAVE BEEN CALLING ME LAST 4 YRS ALSO HEAVY ACCENT

I received a call this morning from this number. Some older lady Laura called saying I had felony charges pending then connected me to the biggest [***] in this planet. I knew this was a scam as soon as this guy started talking. He called me a scumbag amongst other words. Do not answer! This same guy has been calling since last year.

WOW, my phone service dictates my voice mails into written emails.   This is what happened next.  LMAO  SO obviously a scam... but omg, this made it not so annoying... I actually LOL'd out-loud when I read it,
