Caller from Dynamic Recovery Solutions - a debt recovery service.  Didn't leave a message, but machine answered on callback.

I live in austin so I answered..no one on other line..dont owe any money either..

Received a call from this number on my cell when on an Alaskan cruise. Did not answer unknown number. They left a voicemail to call not sure the toll free number. Will not call and blocked the #. Thanks for input for this scam.

A very loud recording saying they are a debt collector. That's all I can manage to take away from the extremely loud recording.  I just hung up.

Answered because it was a 512 area code and the guy stated he was calling from Dynamic Recovery Solutions regarding an important business matter, but would not disclose any info to me unless I verified my social security number! I did not verify my ss # with him and just hung up.

They seem to have a lot of numbers to call from, so I guess I will be dealing with the message from these idiots. Honestly, they would not be able to buy even old debts with my SSN attached, so I will not call them back based on some of the complaints associate with DRS.

Called looking for someone I've never heard of. Said that if I wasn't so n so to push 2.  Pushed 2 and it disconnected.

I highly suspect this is a scam.  I think it is the same guy.  He called me from a different Austin number that had the same prefix (792).  He said he was from Debt Recovery Solutions or some [***] like that.  These guys can make up names of companies to make themselves sound legitimate.  He referred to a toll-free number - (877) 821-1658.  You can google this number and read the comments.  I listened to the voicemail but obviously there's no way in hell I'll call them.  Also this guy- and I'm very sure it's the same person - called me two or three months ago from a slightly different Austin-based number and gave me the same message and recommend I call the exact same toll-free number I state above.  What I find appalling is that he is still operating.  It would be nice if someone shut him down.

My credit rating is fine.  I shouldn't be receiving calls from debt collectors.  If this guy is legitimate - which I strongly doubt - he didn't do any research on me.  If he did, he would have found out that he didn't need to call me.

They are doing the "can you hear me okay?" scam.
