Rang tonight on my parent's land line.....didn't answer it....

Pat Boone called in a prerecorded message ... wanted me to vote for Ted Cruz for Senator.
Maybe Pat needs to stick his head, rather than the old love letters, in the sand.
Cruz is using a LOT of alternate phone numbers ... really abusing the "right"!  He definitely lost my vote.

these people have called at least a dozen times in the last week or so, there are very sick and elderly people in this house hold waiting for important calls or we would shut the ringers off. i'm am sick and tired of these political calls, this one number has called more than most. I would really like to know how I can stop them from calling, my block list is getting full.

that my wife receive on her cell phone just 10 minutes ago which we didnt answer.

I've gotten two from them today from 214-396-5566.  They apparently are too dumb to get the hint on the first one - when I just hung up on them.

The second one - I demanded to know who they were calling for.  There was silence, so I told him "The law requires you to identify yourself, and if you don't - I'll call the police right now and report this as a harassing call".  That got his attention and he told me it was the "Elect Ted Cruiz campaign.

I told him to put me on his "Do Not Call" list and never phone here again.  Then I simply hung up on him.  

Once you've met that requirement - if they ever call you again, you can go do small claims court and get $500 per call.  Simply take your phone records to the court and present them - you'll win.  So they're usually smart enough not to call again.

But be sure you do those two things:  Get who they're calling for (company if its a telemarketing call), and preferably their name.  And tell them to put you on the "Do Not Call" list.

Calling regulary but thanks to this site I know who it is and do not answer.  

This is one politician I might have voted for, but will NOT now.  

Just like I don't buy from those who are desparate enough to have to telemarket over the phone unsolicited.

The annoyance is just too much.  I work in a field where I am constantly on the phone all week and certainly do NOT appreciate being phone-stalked on the weekends.

These jerks are calling on our cell phone and using our minutes!  Knock it off !!  They hang up as soon as I tell them they're on a cell phone.

Saturday afternoon call about 1:00 PM.

These are recording phone calls, so you don't get to talk with a live person to demand your phone # be taken off their lists.  I can make up my own mind without any help from these pestering people.

Second call this week from Pat Boone (Yuk!) wanting me to vote for Ted Cruz. That made me sure I will NOT vote for Cruz.

We are sick and tired of getting calls from 512-827-8922.  It doesn't show up who it is on the caller ID.  Shows up "Out of Area".  No one on the other end.

Political call from the Cruz campaign for US Senator from Texas.  I will not vote for him as there have been so many annoying calls.

You all almost correct, the politicos who wrote this law left compliance by political campaigns out of the field that must comply.  I suggest you ask the caller to have the person seeking your vote to pledge to have their activity included in the do not call law.

I think you are correct the Cruz candidate and his workers come across as too strident.  I am hesitant to support someone who wants to be elected so desperately.

I plan to vote for David, I like the fact that he will be giving up a better job to go to Washington for Texas.

My first choice is role back the 17th amendment and let the State Legislature select the US Senator as they did before the Progressives began to mess with the rules.

This was a call made to vote for Dewhurst for Senator in run off election..

Irritating call for the tea party darling - Ted Cruz. He won't have my vote.
