Unknown number, no voice mailbox set up.  Appreciated knowing that it's a junk call....

Calling telling my husband this was his LAST CHANCE to change his interest rate on his credit card.  He does not even own a credit card.  LOL.. SCAM!!!!

Recorded message to lower credit card rates and push 1 to speak with a rep - did that and Mike picked up - I asked to be removed as this is a cell phone - hung up on me.

Telemarketing call to Lower Credit card inerest rates. Told caller that my number is on the DO NOT CALL list.  Rep named Travis said this was impossible.  Caller claims that my number was provided to them by VISA or Mastercard.

I got a call too, on my cell phone (denver area code), from this number with a recorded message about lowering the rate on visa and master cards. message also prompted to press 1 to speak to a representative. When I did, after a few rings, a man came on the line saying this offer was for people who qualify. I responded saying that the offer did not sound right and asked who they represented. Immediately, the caller hung up on me. drat these scammers, how do they get our numbers? This is why privacy is important, stop vendors selling our personal information online. I'm going to find other official venues where I can make a complaint.

Lowering the interest rate on my credit cards? That's interesting. The message that was left on my voicemail from this # didn't say anything about that, it just said something about my eligibility expiring and to press 1. But the beginning of the message was cut off, so it's possible it really was related to credit card interest - which would mean it wasn't meant for me personally since I have no credit cards. It does sound like a phishing scam, though - they're trying to get people's card #s by pretending to negotiate lower interest rates with the lenders.

One other thing - 20 minutes before the call from this # I got another call that left the same message. But that one showed up as being from 905-000-486705. That's more digits than I'm used to seeing, but Google says that area code is in southern Ontario so maybe the #s are like that there. (I'm in the US.)

I'm on the Do Not Call registry too. If they try this again I'll report them.

"Account Services" is a company based in Georgia, and can 'appear' like it's calling from your own home phone area (found this out from our local phone company, because I thought it was a 'neighbor' calling, same area code and extensions), but how did they get cell phone numbers???  Mine are on the no-call registry, also, as are my regular phone numbers, but they seem to still get through!!!!

I just got a phone call from this phone number, but I usually do not answer any calls if they are not in my phone list.
