Called but left no message. Number traces back to duke energy but is answered as a number not in service at this time!

Called stating my account Duke will be terminate for non payment.

Got a call about disconnection and entered 1 to see what this was as I have no utility account currently.  Lady, well woman acting like Duke Energy was flustered when I asked her for my account number, she then told me to “F” off and hung up on me.

Pressed a button to talk with someone because I do not have an account with them. Foreign guy answered and hung up on me before I could even finish. Tried to call back and said it could be completed as dialed.

Pressed 1 to be connected, placed on poor quality hold music, then a foreign guy came on claiming to be Duke Energy and when I started questioning him he placed me back on hold. I waited and he picked up again pretending that I called them and my account was going to be terminated and service stopped. I don’t have utilities through them.

I don't recall answering this # (called twice on 6/1/23) yet my phone bill received 6/28/23 shows 2 30-cent charges.
