Caller ID read "Pittman, White & Associates. This is not a legit business they are not registered under the secretary of state or the business bureau. You would need to registered under the secretary of state to have a legal business. It is 100% scam to get your money. If a true collector or business they have to send you a letter of your outstanding bill and settlement options.

Unwanted call an hung up on me

I received a call stating I needed to send money $1800 to resolve an outstanding debt from cash advance. I knew something wasn't correct, I had never used a check cashing facility ever before!

They said they was a mediator for Direct Cash Loans. They were trying  to get money for something  about a cash advance loan involving a check from 2011... not one but four!!! "I said ma'am if that was true I would have a warrant"... so she claim they couldn't find me  🤣She had an old email that was hacked like 5-6 yrs ago. It was hilarious she got really upset when I made her go threw the break down, and of course I was given her false info and she was like yes, I see it here in our system🤣🤣🤣 she thought she was gone hit me for $3500 (ya know it's income tax season, these scammers are thirsty) so after all that I told her that I was contacting the police and reporting her and her fake company, then she got mad and hung up!!!

Called left message saying have a pending case and need to speak with me or attorney of record. If they do not hear from me will assume that I wave my right to council and will file accordingly what ever that means. I have never received anything in the mail. The number on caller ID  was 515 212 7015 but the firm was the same name Pittman White and Associates.  I have blocked the nber now.

They keep calling me

The caller told me her name was Kate Hall and she was a mediator for Pittman-White and they were collecting for Direct Loans from 2010. They said I owed $1200 and that if I settled in few, they would take $700 off or I could set up a payment plan. She wanted to know if I was paying with a debt or credit card and that if I didn't pay they would have a warrant out for my arrest. She then said she would take $300 off and I said you said $700 and she got all flustered. I then asked her to transfer me so I could settled, and as she put me on hold as we looked up Pittman-White. I immediately hung up. This was the message they left me "This is Robert Hansen with _⁠_⁠_⁠_⁠_⁠_ _⁠_⁠_ and _⁠_⁠_⁠_⁠_⁠_⁠_⁠_⁠_⁠_ have a _⁠_ _⁠_⁠_ case of _⁠_⁠_ office that requires your immediate attention is imperative that I speak with you or your attorney of record today my number is 515-200-7780 I do not hear from you or your attorney I _⁠_⁠_⁠_⁠_ document that you have _⁠_⁠_⁠_⁠_⁠_ your right to counsel _⁠_⁠_⁠_⁠_ _⁠_⁠_⁠_ case cover yourself accordingly…”

They are a scam I know first hand the problem is they scam their employees just as well as the people some of the people that work there have know idea
