Company name is American Siding. A girl called me and offered a free window and siding estimates. The call then dropped, I called back and got a message that said to press 2 to have them put you on the "Do not call list". I am on the No call list, and don't have any affiliation with this company.

Yes, the number 515-309-5360 (ID'd as: American Companies) & 515-309-5303 (ID'd as: American Funding) have started calling my house and I am also on the No Call list so I encourage you (if your getting harassed) to exercise the "No Call Complaint Form" https://nocall.wisconsin.gov/web/includes/help/NoCallComplaintForm.pdf  The only thing is your gonna need a printer this form cannot be submitted online.

I too have asked them to take me off their list, but still they persist.
They have called my home 3 times today:

once = hang up
twice = basement restoration company, told them no, and off their list
third = called them out on being a basement company and calling 3 times today and the guy said that they were not a basement company and hung up after another question was asked of him!!!

I'm calling Pat Pagano tomorrow...letting him/her answer, then hanging up.  Several times during the day!!! See how THEY LIKE IT!!!!!

Don't these people realize how much bad press they're creating by pestering people like this?  They call our house at least twice a day.  I've never gotten the chance to speak with anyone...they always hang up.  I'm glad I found this site...I called and put our names on the Do Not Call List...we'll see if it does any good.

what bugged me is the person offered me a free estimate on siding and window installation  in december in northern wisconsin and kept asking me if I was going to be home for the next two days. (which I did not answer) Theres not alot of window installation going on up here when it's below zero. hello

Got a call from these yahoos last nite (7-28-08) at 6:29pm.  The guy on the other line asked to speak to my husband.  I asked what is this in regards to and this guy tells me that he is speaking to homeowners in my area.  Ya, whatever.  I told him that we RENT, take me off their LIST and that I am on the "do not call" list.  I then hung up on him.

the rent excuse was a good one, I hit the wrong "thumb" sign....sorry!!

Keeps calling and calling. Never anyone there and leaves no voice mail???   I too am on the do not call list for all my numbers.  We all need to keep reporting crazy companies like this one!
