Uses Craigs List to "buy" things, sends too much on the check and wants the rest sent back. SOmetimes uses text messages, as the accent gives her away. Likely a Nigerian scheme by others who heard her voice.

I posted 2 ads on Craigslist and got this text "Hello this is john is the item still for sale ?sectional - $200 " I replied "sold". Then I got another text "Hello this is john is the item still for sale ?    Refrigerator - $500" I asked if they are a dealer and received the following text "I'll be so glad to buy from you, I'll love to send you a certified check for my payment and please i don't mind Adding $30 for you to hold the item for me, and I'll make sure i take care of the shipping, and goods wont be moved until you have your money in hand.Sound good..?" The grammar and punctuation are off. I didn't say we had a deal I asked if they were a dealer. Lol. Be wary of this person.

Just received note similar to above from this individual. If you're getting stuff like this, READ SCAM INFO on Craigslist. It helped me avoid be scammed about about $2K just a couple of weeks ago. This person is likely a scammer.

    Per Craigslist:
Stick to local, or insist people talk to you in person on phone.
NEVER accept a cashiers check. The scam is that they turn out to be a fake check, but you're already passed the money along to a "mover" and it's gone from your account. Then the bank holds YOU accountable, so you lose the cash.
The person who almost got me was very persistent and persuasive, and even wanted to talk via phone. But when the $2K check came for the $250 item....I know it was a scam.

    Beware!!
