I got a text from this number saying:

Based on users on this site, thisis a scam.

I got a text telling me to call this number. When I called, it was a recording telling me my debit card was canceled due to technical reasons. Then it prompted me to enter my 16 digit card number, and that's when I hung up. I called my bank and they said my debit card was fine. It's a total scam. Never give out your personal info with calls like these. Just hang up and call your bank to verify.  Hey  Nassau County PD, find these guys and throw them in jail. They prey on the elderly and the uninformed.

I just received a text message from banws @ verizon.net that stated
(B Of A - Urgent Message.PleaseCall : 5 1 6 2 6 2 4 0 1 7)
Of course, I did not call and looked it up first.

txt msg...  urgent BOA  msg call this number...   I just deleted the txt..

I received a message from bnkame@verizon.net and bofa5@verizon.net saying "(B OF A - Urgent Notification. Please Ring 5 1 6 2 6 2 4 0 1 7)" one message at 1:57pm and the other at 2:04pm I blocked them.

Received txt to call immediately. Made it appear to be from Chase Bank. Got to be a scam.

actually came as a text requesting urgent attention ...

Received a text message with my home address and ask me "How's everything going?"  I'll be blocking the number... Complete scam
