5/10/19. Second call of the day from "Department of Social Security" (other from 707-861-1958) saying they "have suspend [sic] your Social Security number due to suspicious activity. If you want to know more press 1" - same message, same male (computerized?) voice.

Automated phone call claiming your Social Security number is on hold because of suspicious activity. You are prompted to call back to find out more about the “case” by pressing 1.

Same experience as the others people that wrote.   They left a very choppy and fake sounding automated voice message saying my SSN has been suspended due to suspicious activity and if I want to know more about this case to press 1 thank you.
Voice recording so I didn’t pick up or press 1 and I am glad I didn’t after googling the number and learning it was a scam.
