This number keeps calling me several times a day.
They never leave a message and don't answer when you pick up!!

Who are these people and how do you get them to quit calling already?!!?

They call several times a day starting at 8:45AM. Caller ID says Glen Head, NY When I answer they hang up.

The North Shore Animal league answers ( computer) .. it says you can take number off their calling list... hope it works... I called them back and entered my number for deletion.

I think this is North Shore Animal What ever..... They call and want you to help the Animals out... A very worthy cause but they pester you to death...

It is North Shore Animal League, a legitimate animal rescue shelter. They are the largest no-kill shelter in the country. However, the daily phone calls are still annoying and I don't answer. They never leave a message.

you must enter #s slowly and check to make sure the recording reads back your number correctly... it took me several tries before the computer got it correct

the last time I tried - which was successful ...  I pressed each # of my phone # for an extended period and w/ a brief pause between #s.

North Shore is a VERY good animal rescue group. I have supported them for at least 15 years but they started calling just recently. wonder why they have become so aggressive all of a sudden? I will continue to support them but wont ever give them my credit card. over the phone.

When I looked up the number (516-277-8431) on the internet the name of the business which came up is: Town of North Hempstead Building Department, in Manhasset.  From the other comments I read, the caller is calling with reference to the North Shore Animal League, which has it's own phone number and location. I guess someone at the Building Dept. is working for NSAL in their spare time when they are supposed to be getting paid for working for the Bldg.Dept.  Typical b.s.

I have donated money to North Shore Animal League for quite sometime.  My caller ID shows North Shore. Not sure  it is associated with North Shore Animal League.  I don’t answer calls I don’t recognize.  They don’t leave a message. This calling just started yesterday but again today.

I'm getting lots of call from Caller ID "Animal League" from phone #s 516-277-8431, 631-247-9461 and 631-993-4505.  No messages left.  It's not North Shore Animal League because I called them.  I've blocked all those numbers.

It actually is a hired telemarketer from the north Shore Animal League of America.

And told them they call me and hang up on me. Was told the robo call calls several people at the same time and whoever picks up first, they will talk to. I told them they should check into changing this, since that is anoying and many people will not donate to them anymore the way it is done! The person told me he would forward that information to the right person.

Wow, Molly, I just called them and spoke with Gregory. Was told they are hired to call , I agree, it is very annoying the way it is done! They are a good Animal League, but need to change that part! I called 516 883 7575. I think the only way I will donate to them is when I receive their newsletter with donation envelope! I told Gregory they will be loosing some supporters if they do not change the way it is done!

This is North Shore Animal League looking for donations. I donated. And my thanks for doing that is now I get annoyed on a daily basis. NO GOOD DEED GOES UNPUNISHED!

Calls often, no message, who is this?

I've supported North Shore AL for years. NO MORE. They have no OK to call me. They must have googled my number. These idiots MUST be made to understand that we will NOT give them any info by phone, especially not CC numbers! Sorry, NSAL, you just spammed yourselves out of a regular donor!!!!

If this is indeed the North Shore Animal League it is a very good cause.  They are the ones who cared for Scarlett the cat who went into a burning building multiple times to save her kittens and was terribly burned in the process.  A good cause indeed.  I have sent them money many times over the years     https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QpHA0QcCtZ8

I'm a big supporter of North Shore Animal League but....so far I've received 13 calls from different Caller IDs.  No message is ever left and I can't block them because they call on different numbers each time.  I hope it's not North Shore doing this.  It would be sad
