Just got this call today to our home line.  Didn't leave a message.  Do Not Call List seems futile lately, as unwanted, unknown calls have been increasing constantly.

I received this call on my DNC listed phone but as the caller identified herself as calling on behalf of the North Shore Animal Rescue League, the call is exempt from DNC lists.  Nevertheless, I just hung up.  I've given to animal charities before and the result is, they sell your name to every other charity and you get innundated with requests for more and more money.  Lesson learned.  From now on, when I donate to something, I do it anonymously.

These people have called yet again today at 1558 hrs.  Apparently they don't accept the concept of NO because they keep calling me, nearly every single day from four or five different phone numbers.  At this point, I'm beginning to consider this harassment.  My call blocker keeps disconnecting but they continue to call and call and call.  They will NEVER get a donation from me after this aggravation.  This has been going on for at least a month now.

When the North Shore Animal League dose its own fundraising their caller ID identifies them. This 516-277-8432 number is likely some bottom-feeding pocket-stuffing independent who gives $.05 to $.10 of every dollar collected to the Animal League and laughs all the way to the bank with the rest. NEVER give through any of these type callers. Donate directly to the charity. The North Shore Animal League does great work and I am surprised they are using these independent thugs.

This number CONSTANTLY calls me at work every day and on weekends. They never leave a message. They just call over and over and over. It's really annoying. I adopted a puppy from Norht Shore almost a year ago, but I have no idea why they keep calling.

This call was from "Anonymous", so the number is now blocked.  My talking caller ID has a woman's voice, and she pronounced it Anna Nemous.  She's not too bright.

Just received a call from them. Caller ID says North Shore. I was getting calls from Animal league different number. I adopted my dog from NSAL 11 years ago, so I picked up, no answer from both numbers. After I blocked the Animal League number the North Shore number called. I guess another number to block.

I must have received 4 phone calls in the past 3 weeks . I did my part by adopting a dog from north shore now they are looking for a donation . The phone calls are annoying because I made the mistake of giving my cell number , I will block the number .

The caller indentified himself as Ron (I forgot his last name) from North shore animal league. Asked me my thoughts on NSAM and if I would like to donate 15 a mth to become a sponsor. To be honest I never sign up to anything over the phone. I just told him not today. Lol

Also I am not sure if it really is North shore animal league, he wanted to know if he can send the pamphlet to look over everything that was mentioned. I hope it truly is NSAM because as a animal lover it would be devasting if it isn’t. To have people donate and it isn’t truly them.. I am also on the do not call list but I guess charities go through.
