Received a call from this number at 10AM. Answered right a way, hung up right away.

I meant that *they* hung up right away.

I got a call from them at 10:52 a.m. today. They left no message, and when I called back, it's a machine that says, "Thank you for calling. If you would like to be placed on our do not call list, please leave your number after the tone. Thank you." I live in Alabama, if location is relevant.

Caller ID showed the callers number as 516-277-8439 and identified the caller to be ADC Association.  The caller called several times today and would not respond when I answered.  But what's the point of even posting this info here --no one is going to do anything to stop these irritating calls.

I received the same number and the same response from them.. What is going on.. And do they think i'm that crazy to give them my number.... They called me,, so they have my number.... I'm gonna look further into this!!!

The annoying lowlives call everyday and don't answer. Will someone please let me know how to fight back so I can go after them.

I get a call daily with noone on the other end. How do I stop it?

NO ONE IS REPORTING THESE ILLEGAL CALLS TO THE FTC OR DONOTCALL.GOV

they need to have COMPLAINTS from YOU - before they can do anything.. ALL OF YOU

Don't expect others to do it for you.  1 complaint does nothing - they must have thousands before they can investigate.

just received a call on PRIVATE UNLISTED home phone that is on the DO NOT CALL list!  from 516-277-8439.. listed on caller ID as Glen Head, NY  .. i do not know anyone from that area.. and I live in North Carolina.

Got the same call yesterday.  Wife answered and they asked to confirm that I had diabetes...  which I don't.  Very disturbing.  I just reported them to the do not call site.

Everyday getting a call from ADC Association 516-277-8439.  This needs to STOP!

A friend has been getting calles from the same phone number, I did some reaserch for said friend.  

Land line,  Geln Head, Nqssau County, NY.  The caller's phone company is Paetec Communications, Inc-NY.  Paetec phone number is 1-877-472-3832. http://www.paetec.com/solutions   I am going to call them and report the callers abuse of the phone.

Got a call from 516-277-8439 today (Wed Apr-28-2010) at 10:11 AM.  Picked up the phone and they hung-up.

This number belongs to Honda City service department.  They called to set up an appointment for an oil change. I purchased a Honda from this dealer, so the call is legit.
