Caller said my parents had won the publishers clearinghouse sweepstakes and that it would be delivered FedEx on Monday. This number was given to her to confirm the prize. She was also given the number 888 278 1467 to call.

You will soon get a message from a "US Customs Agent" stating your package has arrived but because of Homeland Security reasons they had to open - I clicked on the speaker phone and I believe it scared them - they were about to inform me of a tarrif that went along with the prize money. Then the line went dead, they called back but hung up when my husband answered!

I recieved a call from 516-301-1027 on Friday the 29th of may said that I had won second place in a publishers Clearing House sweepstakes.They said that I should call 1-888-278-1467 to claim my prize. I was told at that time that I had won 495,000 dollars and that I would recieve my package on Monday the 1st of June. It would be delivered to me by Fed-ex and that I had to be home to collect the package because I would need to show my ID. So on the 1st I took off of work to make sure I didn't miss the delivery of my package. They also gave me a tracking number to track my package which never worked so I called them back. I was told at that time that they would find out why the tracking number didn't work and they would call me back in 25 minutes. So I waited about an hour,they hadn't called me back so I called them again, this time I was told that my package had arrived at customs and that they just had to make sure of the delivery address and that someone from customs would contact me before they could send the package to me. So I waited for another 30 minutes and when they didn't call me,I called them back once more and this time I just got a recording saying to leave a message. So believe me this is just a scam. So please don't believe this for one minute.
