I keep getting calls from this number and when I answer, it just hangs up. I'm getting frustrated as these calls come in 3,4, up to 6 times a day ! How can I make them stop calling me?

They lied claiming to be from con ed. Asked if i wanted to save 15 percent off my account? Asked if i was the account holder but mentioned if i was the spouse of xyz, soneone who doesnt live here. She then laughed and asked my name phone number and acct number. I said tbat if she was from con ed she would know all this. She asked me if i was tippin and was hysterical laughing. I knew then that this was a scam, debt collector or otherrwise.

This scam calls from Ambit Energy representatives. I reported this phone to NYS Public Service Commission. Person name Chanan.

When your unemployed every call matters ... using this handy reverse look-up tool saves me the anguish of thinking I may have missed a very important lead.  Have some mercy and compassion scam haters !!!

Caller rang my land line and hung up when I answered.

This person called asking for a Con Ed account holder, I said they were not at home and they hung up so abruptly it was suspicious.

I got a call from that number today--my answering machine picked it up and they hung up.
Why would they waste their time doing this?

I let it go to voicemail and the person on the other end just hanged up.
I've never heard or conducted business with this company.
Many companies share your information even though they claim not to do so.
Something has to be done about this.

I just got a call from this #; I let it go to voicemail and they did not leave a message. My caller ID said the call originated in Great Neck, NY.
