Two separate calls of a half a ring each...didn't show the number on my caller i.d. but my phone picked up the number on my voice mail when I went to check to see if my message box was full and it had left the non-message with this phone number.

got a call from them that was silent no matter how hard i yelled.  showed from manhasset, nyCaller ID: 516-453-2044

Called at about 4am.  I picked up and there was no response

Same here. got a call from this number, (516) 453-2044, at 12:27am Jan 9 2010.  They left me a 5 minute voice mail with nothing on it. It was completely empty.  Very strange.

Received a phone call from this number at 12:30 AM Central.  It was silent  on the other end, and I hung up after 40 seconds.   This acutally called my work on call Toll Free Number which is not published, so it appears to be a random call.

My phone rang around 3:50 a.m. Jan. 17,2010 and when I checked the caller I.D. it said from NY. This is a bit unnerving since my son lives in TX and at that time of the morning one thinks that something has happened. This is not the first call from this number and I thought that there could be no calling before 8 a.m. and after 9 p.m. but both calls have come in before and after this time frame. Wish they would stop.

1/17/2010 - 1:45 a.m.  Same as everyone else... my phone rang and when I answered there was no one there.  I tried to hang up but it took several minutes for the call to disconnect.  When I finally had a dial tone again, I called the number back to find out what kind of idiot would call at 1:45 a.m. (since I know no one in that area code).  When the call connected it put me straight to a voicemail box that was "full" and could not accept any more messages.  That is when I did an internet search on the number and found this site.  However, I intend to call my phone company in the morning and report this incidence and the number - just in case by answering I inadvertently set myself up for some unknown charges or some other type of scam.   You can never be too careful these days!

Here's a good one...this number comes up on my phone bill.  It is a business phone, no one was at the business, but I was charged for the call???
