They call me once a day...leaves no message. Call it back and says disconnected.

Get these same calls, somethin about education taking classes or enroling, hard to hear, pretty anouying getting these calls

I'm pretty sure this is a debt-collection company. We recently signed up for a land line, were given our new number, and have since been getting about 10 calls a day for the woman who last had our number - all various debt collectors. These folks just called asking for her. Sigh...Nancy owes a lottttta moola!

I called this same number back.  It is educationready.net.  not really sure what they do but the recording did allow me to add my number to the do not call list.  Something others may want to try.

I keep receiving calls from this phone number over and over again (started today).  When I call back it either rings forever and then tells me the line has been disconnected or it goes straight to a recording that tells me to check the number...etc.   Mmanson above stated that its educationready.net so I went to that website and the 1st thing you see is a spot for you to enter your number for the do not call list......hopefully they actually take my number off their list!  Thanks mmanson!

I'm getting pretty pissed off this Arab dude is harrassing me and won't tell me where he is calling from he keeps asking for some guy named jay Brock and I tell him noooo my name is jeff and the assclown says come on jay I know it's you just admit it for me.... Alot of nerve this duche has does anybody have a number I can call to actually speak to someone from this place I recorded my last call with him so I can sue the [***] out of them for harrassment! Thanks :)

I also have been getting these annoying phone calls from Alan Smith, This is a scam!!!! He stated that I did not pay a loan back and i had to go to court in the morning. He was going to come get me. and bring me to California .  I told him he was a scammer , he started yelling and swearing at me. He says his company is United Association or legal assoication.

I do not have a school loan so what is this about? They called my cell, which I do not give out to businesses. I did not answer.

The "educationready.net" website looks suspicious. It states that if we received a call from them it's because we recently requested information from them. I most absolutely did NOT request information from them. Beware folks. These are a bunch of idiots.

For what good it will do, I filed a complaint about this phone number/website at www.donotcall.gov.

My private cell is used for family and close friends. When [***] like this call me on this line it infuriates me.

I googled area code 516. Suffolk County, Queens, NY.

Again, beware folks. Not to label Queens, NY but if you've ever driven through some of their neighborhoods you will see what I am talking about.

DON'T ANSWER WHEN THIS NUMBER RINGS.... THEY CAN STEAL YOUR PERSONAL INFO....

Yes I keep receiving calls from that number. it hangs up immediately. But I also recall getting calls from the educational offer.

Funny i get this call about 4-hours after i visited a local college web site....i finally answered yesterday he new my e-mail address and everything i told him he was spying on me...and he needed to take me off his phone list he kept insisting i check out his web site which i will not never do.... know what kind of tracking cookies or viruses he has on that site but really scary i did not fill out anything at all when i looked at the the local college web site....He did find me very funny over my shock of how he had tracked me down is this not illegal....

I keep getting these calls on my cell number.  I don't answer it but it only rings 3 times then stops.

My caller asked for someone named Philip in a heavy middle eastern accent.
I have had this phone number since 2000!
I just told them wrong number and hung up.
