Our company received a robo-call from these annoying idiots this morning. The message claimed to be so-and-so of Business News or some such nonsense.  The pre-recorded call did NOT conform to FCC requirements (not as if the FCC would do anything about it). It did not properly identify the caller and did not provide the option to opt-out.  Our number is on the Do-Not-Call list but, naturally, because we're a business, we have no rights.  (Or maybe it's because our business is way too small to make juicy donations to politicians.)  A reverse look-up shows the number is (allegedly) an unpublished phone out of Nassau, NY.  The number the recording left (if we wanted a business loan) was 888-546-0213 which, apparently, is the so-called "Vital Business News."  Nothing "vital" about them.  Just annoying telemarketers who don't bother conforming with the law because the FCC is practically useless.  I've received calls from these idiots before and optioned to opt out.  Naturally, that's a waste of effort because they don't care about complying with my wishes or the law.

This has nothing to do with the Diabetic Connection.  I suspect that organization no longer exists or gave up this particular number and these [***] now use it.

Message maundered on for about 15 seconds and informed me this "Vital Business News".  "Due to their HIGH call volume"... they wanted me to leave a number for them to call back on (if you decide not to call them first).  So, I choose one from right here on this list with 57 pages of complaints to date.  That'll fix 'em.

I will be reporting this to the FCC complaint website as soon as this post is complete and I urge anyone else who gets these silly messages or actual calls to do the same.

The Do Not Call list clearly doesn't work, but by complaining to the FCC there is an actual record of your complaint and if they get enough of them, something may eventually be done about these intrusions.

Though they come on a Diabetic Connection, they are a collection agency and try to get information out of you, some times by trying to trick you into believing they are giving you a loan. But, this is actually to gain information about you collect funds. Some times, you may not even owe someone, but if they think you do they'll hound you!

888-990-9395 was the number left on our recorder about purchasing Ink & Toner and receiving an award of an Ipad 2 with minimal purchase.  Domain name given as YourInkandTonerSupplier.com.   No such domain either.  Who is wasting who's time?

I got the SAME message. Some guy named "Mike" left a message, acting like I who who he was, and urging me to place "another" order. To place "another" order, I would've had to place one to begin with...lol Scammers.

Same ole' scam, saying if we placed another ink and toner order today, we would get a free IPad 2 with a qualifying order.  Too bad we have never placed an order with them and we do not know a Mike.  Domain name for their business is BOGUS as well.  If you call them back, you will not get a live person. Call their number back at (888) 990-9395 and leave them a prank telephone number from the www.humorhotlines.com website.  Just flood their inbox with bogus info and they will never be able to scam real people.

Another call from 'Mike" at "your ink and toner supply" saying if I ordered from them "again" I would win an i-phone. Never ordered from them or would for any reason. I am on the "do not call" list and will take the time to report these scam artists. They actually called me from 404-891-5885 (could be the callers home number). He invited me to call back on 888-990-9395. Thanks to Jeff for publishing the link to the FCC to make it easier to report this guy.
