Home security scammers. Do you want criminals installing your home security?

Received an unsolisited call from what appears to be a bogus company.  GE has gone so far as to put a statement on their website saying this is a scam.  And the peolpe calling don't work for GE or UTCFSA. - I wouldn't be surprised to find out the caller was using masking software, to just pretend to be calling from this phone number.

Got this call, but wasn't able to answer. From the comments of "Home Alarm", I think it's likely to be one of our favorite home alarm scam companies that's been cited by the FTC before. I know I got a call from them about 6 months to a year after the FTC announced their last action against them.

So, play along. Tell the you have a 3-4 doors, etc. When they start quoting numbers, ask if that means you have to change monitoring, or can you continue to use ADT or whatever. They will very likely tell you that you'll be monitored by someone else. Ask who will be monitoring the system. Report that information to the FTC.

called about saling some thing don't need being very pushie about it tell them too take my numbers off there computer they told me they had every to call me i gave them a warning to stop

When I mentioned that I was on the "do not call list" he told me to "go _ _ _ k yourself " and started yelling -   I hung up -  watch out!!!!

Number calls multiple times. Will never leave a message. If you do not answer they only continue to call.

I received a call from this number a little while ago. I answered it and no one was there. After a few seconds it disconnected.
