Called but didn't leave a message. Called on my office phone and was told could not connect because I didn't call fro the number listed in their data bank! Scam!!

What happened to the National Do-Not-Call Registry, which my number is on? Or is DONOTCALL.GOV just another one of those superfluous and needless, big government services?

File a complaint on them with the DNCR.  I just did.  Only when they know these crap companies are violating the registry will they do something about it.

Keeps calling my cell with no message left.  I REALLY want it to stop. ;(

My number is unlisted and I alike to know how they found my number.  I saw the number and  thought it was my friend in NY who is in bad health.  I sent them a text and got nothing back so I was worried till I typed that number in and found out this.  It makes me mad!  It needs to stop.

I keep getting calls from this number too.  I have no idea how they got a hold of it.  I will take the above mentioned advice and will report them.

Received a call from this #. They didn't leave a message. I called the # and got a recorded message from the WCA. From what I've read they are a particularly nasty group that keeps calling people even after they've gone through all the steps to get off their list...

Called regarding owing IRS money.  I have implemented 'DO NOT CALL' on my phone.  How are these calls getting through?

Called from "PROMTIONS WCA" at 3:48 PM on June 9, 2011 and did not speak at all. In other countries I've heard such callers and spammers are discovered decapitated or tortured and dead.

Got a call from this number today. They didn't leave a message, and I didn't dare call it back. I have heard that some of these places can get information about you and/or tap into your phone line by  you either answering or calling them back; don't know if that is true, but I don't like to take the chance.

Called and when I picked up the phone there was just open air...found this post and am really growly now. I, too, wonder about the Do Not Call Registry. I have been on it for several years now and still get spamish calls. Kripes.
