I was called 11:00 am this morning a woman called me with back ground sounding like there were a bunch of other people talking as well to other people on phones asked me how my health was and what was ailing me like wouldn’t tell me what exactly she knew about my health but was questioning it and wanted to know if there was anybody older in the house that might have Medicare and since I said no she said oh you don’t have the blue and red Medicare card ? I said no And then she proceeded to act like I could’ve been eligible for something better with my insurance I’ve been scammed

Haven't gotten three calls from this number in two days.  Caller ID says Banco de Leon.  Have not answered.

This allegedly has to do with Medicare.  Allegedly.  They've called each week about 8:30 a.m. mid-week but thankfully we have a call-block system.  Whoever is on the other end of these calls, is attempting to contact elderly individuals.  I assume this is yet another phone scam.

Three calls so far from "Banco de Leon" on my home phone Caller ID. I picked up the call the third time. He asked for me by my full name. Claims to be with Medicare, said Medicare is calling to help me with back and knee pain (yeah, right). I gave no information but asked him to prove he's with Medicare. He told me my full name, address, age. I didn't confirm but I'm sure that's easy info to get these days after all the data thefts from big companies. I said I'll call Medicare if I ever need them. He said he IS Medicare, no need for me to call! I hung up and won't answer that number again.
I tried to report this to Medicare Fraud but never could get through after answering many questions on their automated system and then waiting on hold for almost an hour before being cut off. I guess there's not much interest in the US gov't to shut down these people and the others trying to defraud us.
My advice: If you get a call from anyone saying they're from Social Security or Medicare or your bank, etc, simply HANG UP and contact that agency using a KNOWN official phone number -- look it up yourself, don't trust the caller! If they really did call you, they'll know the reason why. If not, the call you received is a scam.

Just received a call from this number.  No name, just a number.  A man said he was from Medicare.  I cut him off and told him I had coverage under my husband and did not need his help.  He mentioned my age (correct) and that I was disabled (also correct) and verified that I was covered under my husband's insurance (also correct).  Then he mentioned the husband that I divorced 26 years ago, not my current husband.  I told him he was so wrong and that this was a scam and he was NOT Medicare.  Then I hung up.

These individuals/companies are out to get whatever from people who do not have the money and/or facilities to know better.  Please, please make sure that anyone in your family who is Medicaid and/or Medicare eligible talk with someone they and you know to make sure they are not being taken for a ride.

    Good luck!

Claimed to be giving away free back braces to seniors on mecicare. This is a scam. She insisted she was protecting seniors and wanted size information etc. i told her if she was calling from medicare she would have my correct information such as my name and address, which i obviously did not give her. She referred to me by another name and then was trying to confirm my zip code. I told her dont call me back and tha5 i was blocking her number, and i did. This is a SCAM!

The number shows up on my phone as +51 64 536899, (2 calls so far) so right there I figure scam.
It says Junin for name or location not sure which. I don't answer any number out of my area code and since they don't leave a message I will end up blocking them and be done with that number.
