Automated call shown as "political call".  I'll file a complaint with Missouri No Call and once I find out who is sponsoring these ++++++, I will vote for the opponent or oppose any legislation these people sponsor. Just called and the voicemail is still going on.. It called RIGHT AFTER another candidate called when the voicemail was still going on. Pretty pathetic. It's some other one from Chatanooga, TN. Why isn't this illegal?

6 calls from this number in the past 48 hours while I am trying to conduct a sales meeting for 20 people. 5164536915. I, too, will now vote for ANYONE running against whomever is behind these calls. AND will send them $$ for their opposition campaign. Keeps dialing my cell #, and leaving "blank" message so I get message alerts popping up during my presentations only to call back and get dead air. Nice....

More political nonsense to disturb family peace.  Caller Id says "Political Call," supposedly originating from Manhasset, NY, but it is a phony number likely computer generated.  As this is a major elections year, we can expect more and more political related calls from all manner of liars, nonsense-speak, frrauds wanting contributions, firebreathers, pollsters, surveys, etc., etc., mostly phony.  Those wanting money will likely just pocket the funds and disappear.  Do not give credit card info over the phone to anyone, regardless of their message.  Even established campaigns can't be trusted, as the campaign accounts of one candidate were recently embezzled of $4.2M, by her supposedly trusted, long-time campaign staff.  We had primary elections in Virginia on March 6th, preceded by many days of ridiculous, unwanted calls, including 23 on one day.  Everyone needs to immediately write, E-mail or fax their elected reps in DC to demand a complete rewrite of the Do Not Call laws, to include banning political, charity (mostly frauds) and non=profit (more frauds) calls.  PLEASE CONTACT YOUR ELECTED REPS IN DC TO STOP THESE CALLS!

We have been receiving three to six calls from this number every weekday since the beginning of May.  We have not gotten any voice-mail record of this activity.  When we have picked up the phone, there has been no one at the other end. There has to be a way to stop this.

I live in B.C. Canada and I got an automated call in this number -- survey about a proposed pipeline, serious
issue here.  I Stupidly  -- I'm not usually this Dumb -- responded because I wanted to voice my views on this. Not the right thing to do, could be a scam.  It doesn't appear to be, but still...if people want an opinion, then they should have real people call.  Anyway, 5 questions -- question on gender.  
What is bothering me is that I did get a call a few days ago from 571-441-0157 that I didn't pick up.  But from what I read on the net, different issue about BC politics -- but similar survey, 5 questions, question on gender.
Whatever, I won't respond to one of these calls again.

Obviously some kind of political polling company in the US that calls Canadian numbers as well. However robo calls are illegal in Canada. If there is no answer that usually an automated dialer finding when someone is home to answer. They will call you back at the same time again another day. These calls are becoming as irritating as marketing calls and should be included on the DNC registry.  What is the point of paying for telephone service to be violated continuously by these door to door solicitors who constantly change their numbers. Never answer anything without a proper name in the call display. Or answer and hang up immediately.

I got a call from this number on my cell phone.  Didn't recognize the area code and didn't pick-up.  No message was left.

me too.  ten minutes ago, I didn't recognize the caller, and was on another phone, so I let it go to voicemail.  No message was left.  If it is a political call, why are they doing it from New York?
