I mean NO message as well

just got a call from 516-453-6949, they left a message about a solution to lower my interest rates and to call 888-261-4660. There's another thread about this number.

"Hey guys, Allison N---? here. Hey we spoke on the phone last week about possibly trying to lower your interest rate or reducing your monthly payments on your credit card. So I wanted to get back to you and let you know that I did find a solution um we've got a program that can lower those interest rates to as low as 1.5% and possibly cut your monthly payments in half and since you are only making the minimum payments this would be a great opportunity for ya.  This will be the last courtesy call today so give me a ring at 18882614660. Thanks!"

Just got this call on my cell, they got disconnected? Don't know what they want or how thet got my#

Called on my cell phone and left no message.  

No one has my cell phone number except my kids.

Recieved missed call from this number no message only family has my number how did they get it???

This # keeps calling my phone along with a couple more but they all do the same thing. Leave a message and tell you to press 1 to opt out which I did a week ago. I did answer one day and this guy asked for someone I told him that I just got this # a month ago and he has the wrong # he tried to say something else and I told him I'm not interested. Another time I answered and pressed option 2 to speak to someone and when I told the women I would like my # removed she immediately hung up. I called back & it keeps going to voicemail. Who has time to call people all day that are apparently not interested in being scammed and where did they get my cell phone # I only had it for 1 month?

This phone number is among many being utilized for this scam.  The State Attorney General for UT is investigating the matter as well as states Attorneys General for more than 19-other states.

Never provide your personal or card information over the phone.  If the offer was legitament, it would be provided as an insert with your monthly statement.

If you receive similar calls, please contact your bank directly and also your state Attorney General.

BOTTOMLINE - DON'T FALL FOR THIS OR SIMILAR OTHER PHONE SCAMS!!!!  No matter how convincing the call may be!

This a phone solicitor.  They ID themselves as such.  How can they call my number if it is on a no call list? Aren't they breaking the law?

I got the exact same voice mail message left for me on my cell phone.  So glad I looked this up.  I'll follow suit and file a complaint about the number.
