LOWER INTEREST  (caller ID) Rotocaller then hman contact- Robert wants to lower my interest rates, Wants me to tell him numbers to my cards (ha).  Talked with him about why they call every morning, he says machine picks numbers, I asked how to stop this, he changes subject then finally says I'm wasting his time (yeh) and hangs up after wishing me a good day.  If any one gets whese calls talk, talk, talk and say you wish no more calls.  You will feel much relief and they will get the message. If they keep calling its then harrassment.  Its that simple.

Have received numerous call from these turkeys and cannot get rid of them.  The recorded message says press "3" to get off the list but it does not work and they come back again and again.

I've tried talking with them and they hang up on me.

It would seem that the feds could put a stop to this, but maybe it requires some sort of digital vigilante effort.  anyone out there savvy enough to put them out of business?

Got the robo call from "lower interest"  I stayed on the line because I knew dialing #3 doesn't work to stop the calls.  Human calling himself "Robert" came on.  I asked him who he repesented and he said "Card Member Services".  He said that he could lower my card interest rates.  I asked him how he culd do that if it is the bank that sets the rates.  He didn't care for that logic and broke the connection.  I hit *69 and got the  number he called from.  (New York area)  I called and the number is a fake.

A helpful guy at Frontier phone company Googled and found this site for me.  He also told me the guy is using some kind of internet phone system so he can hide his real phone number and location.

Use the Mob, and break their legs. Should be able to block them if you have a service to do it. Don't ans the phone, it just verifies your # is legit. Good luck

This number tried to call twice today; we now know not to answer suspect phone numbers with no known company or person's name; so we didn't. What makes me most angry is the fact that the "Do not call list" doesn't work. I mean, the scammers know it has no teeth. Big brother has better things to do I guess.

We get a message from this number frequently and sometimes as early as 6am. They mentioned it's about lowering credit card rates. One time I got a live person on the phone and he started sexually harrassing me - asking completely obscene questions!

    Scammed in Calif.
I got a call from this # about 2 hr's ago.  My caller ID said "Lower Interest".  I was told that I could lower interest rate on my credit cards, American Express, Capital One & Chase!  I was asked for the last four digits of my cards, plus the last four digits of my soc. security #.  They said they would lower both credit cards to a low 6.9% and it would go down to zero % over time, all I had to do was make minimal payments, and I was chosen for this low interest rate program because I make my payments on time every month, but the minimum rate of payment would take a long time to pay off, so in lowering my finance charge on these credit card accounts I would only have a $4,000 transaction fee added to the account which would still be a savings with the lower finance rate.  I'm reporting this to our credit card company's and the Gov't scam website!

Sue if you have to replies to Dave
I'm in the process of suing them in small claims court. If enough people would do it, they would be out of business and stop calling. Yes, I'll take a few thousand from them, but we need more people to do it.
Here's how I found out how to sue them. http://www.ucan.org/telecommunications/landline/how_to_sue_telemarketers

Good luck and remember to log those calls!!

This number called twice. I thought I had signed up with all the universal blocking number but this one seems to have gotten through.
