It was a harrising call that they said I owe money I had never received. I filled a form online for a payday loan and never recieved it and never was in my bank accont and they said they had prof and were having the police come to my house the next morning to arest me which never happend as this is the next day and I am still here they are trying to get money I dont owe.

Got a call from this number missed it tried to call it back but states it is disconnected.  I would suggest you block calls from this number!

[***] called trying to tell me my computer was downloading a serious virus. Of East Indian descent,
said he was 'Michael' calling from Windows. I told him How F**king stupid do you think I am, take your scam  elsewhere.

Had a friend at work get this same call months ago. The guy also told him his computer was downloading a virus and he had to connect to his computer to fix it.

DO NOT LET THIS KIND OF CRAP TO CONTINUE. IF ANY PERSON CALLS WANTING TO GIVE YOU CODES TO PUT ON YOUR COMPUTER-DIRECTORY-ETC BE SMART DONT DO IT.

I am sure they have more than one scam going,
grand kids in jail needing money
you owe money to a collection agency.

call from Spain (0034). Tried to call back, but the number didn't exist.

This guy called me and told me he was with microsoft and was getting complaints of my computer sending out malicious code
I Told him "BS your nothing but a liar and a thief...Click and he was gone

Didnt answer.

Called to say he (East Indian accent) was calling from Windows to let me know that reports show I have malware on my computer. I hung up and blocked the number. He probably would have asked for my credit card number.
Normally I do no longer answer the phone unless I can see on my call display that I know who is calling. If it is important they will leave a message.

Said hello twice and no response. I hate these stupid calls.

Aug 17/2012 - Just received a phone call from someone (foreign accent) saying that he was calling from Microsoft and that they were getting error messages from my computer and that I needed to sit at my computer so they can help me get rid of the viruses.  I asked him where he was calling from and he said New Jersey.  I hung up and checked a phone directory on the internet and the number comes from New York, USA.  Glad I'm not the only one getting these phone calls.

I received a call from this # 1-516-785-9420 I was busy did not beleive her she wanted me to go to my computer, and wanted me to say when to call back, I said I don't know bye.  They need to be stoped!

I received a call from this number, but I didn't answer it.

Same fake 'Windows Headquarters' warning me of the malicious malware on my computer.  He called from an unknown number so I said give me your number and I'll call you back but he refused.  He called me back later from this number with the same BS.

I got a call from this number +15167859420. The person identified himself as Imtiaz. Sounded like a middle eastern accent. I jus said wrong number n cut the call.

Someone tried to call my husband from this number, he didn't answer as the number indicated it was a NY, USA which immediately rang the alarm bell for him.

Windows DON't call you for viruses

Caller ID said:  New York.  Guy on phone w/ thick accent tried to tell me that he was from Microsoft Service and that my computer said it had a virus.  Told the guy he was full of sh**t as I didn't have a computer.  I lied, but he didn't know...

Have been bombarded with these calls all day here in London.  My network provider has told me not to answer them.  These people are very active, I have had calls from all states in the US.

Nafu from India said that my Windows system was totally infected and he wanted me to download a bunch of software to "fix" it.  I told him I was an old FORTRAN and ASSEMBLY language programmer and he would only download something "over my dead punch card!"  Told him to take a hike.  DON'T LOAD THE WWW.SUPPORT.ME into your browser.  They will take everything you own!!!  They didn't even know what DOS was.  Idiots!!

The Microsoft will never cold call you.  They fix things silently through on-line patches.
