Just got a call saying I had a lawsuit against me from a Indian guy who could barely speak English. Once I got done calling him every name in the book, he hung up on me. I was so angry I called back to finish yelling at him asking him if he rips off people from his own country and if he called my number again I would get him deported. DO NOT BELIEVE THESE SCAMMERS AND DO NOT GIVE THEM MONEY.  They are thieves who believe intimidation works. You get written notice if there is any lawsuit pending. against you.  I don't know how they get away with this.

Somehow he got my work number and has been leaving nasty msgs. my boss is NOT happy. He told me that if I don't pay him "good luck with what will happen to you". That's a threat where I come from.....not ok at all - what can be done? the authorities say to just ignore the number.
