Calling about payment on payday loan

Debt collectorstated I had lawsuit against me

Got a call from some asshat with a heavy Indian Accent stating that I had a lawsuit being brought up against me for some payday loan that I apparently never paid back. well i've never taken a pay day loan out so when these i started cussing and demanding the name of the court I had to "report to" on monday they hung up....

I received a call from these people as well, could barely understand the message. Said either me or my attorney need to call them back and if not good luck to what is coming to me. I never took out any payday loans, have eliminated all my debt and just sold my house. I have twin 3yr. old boys and one of these idiots told me that if I didn't cooperate he was going to take me to jail and take my kids and wife away! Seriously what the heck, go back to your country and leave the hard working honest americans alone!!!!

My husband just asked me about this. Apparently they called his work and gave the name of an officer also. I even tried to call the number back and it doesn't even ring. He's never taken out a pay day loan! What the hell?!

I've also received phone calls from these folks.  Tell them the district attorney will be getting back to them.  They'll stop calling!

I got a call from this number today and spoke with a Ron Branson.  He sounded nothing like a Ron Branson.  I asked to speak with someone who spoke better english,  He stated that he was the supervisor lol.  Said i owed $537.00 from a payday loan i took out in june of 2010.  Funny, I have never taken out a payday loan, nor have i ever dealt with advance payday loan plus.  He also said that i could pay him by credit card or debit and would have a confirmation within 15 mins.  I couldnt help myself but to take down the number and call them back.  Anyway, supposedly Legal Accounts Association is the law firm they work for.  Straight up scammers.  They did have an old email address of mine from like 10 years ago, so who knows.  Either way, they are idiots praying on people who get nervous about court and all this stuff.  He threatened me with arrest and I asked him how i could get arrested over a civil case.  Suddenly the tone changed.  Its friday night and i'm suppose to be in court on Monday morning in New York.  This was toooo fun.

This is an unnerving call.  A scam!

Here we go again, a new name, a new number, same old crap!  Jason Williams 516-833-3218.  I tried to call the number back (which I don't normally do), and the message stated that the person at extension# 5168333218 was on the phone.  I waited until the voice mail picked up and then slammed my phone down.  The sad thing was I could hear a female in the background giving the same script to someone else.

Yep - they're baaaaaaaack!!!!!
