Got a call from 516-979-4180, tried to call back and the recording said the number is "not in service"...an obvious lie. Last week I believe it was the same number and it was some fool asking about my chimney. I just hung up on him.

There needs to be a device created like a spam filter on an email account to prevent this crap from taking place. With technology advances this shouldn't be a problem.

Some sort of scam!!! Made it seem as if my husband had scheduled some type of Chimney service. As soon as I questioned her she hung up on me!

They are spoofing their real number with a fake one so you can't complain about their telephone solicitations even if you are on the DNC registry.  POS scammers.

THESE PEOPLE ARE CALLING..ONCE I PICKED UP..SAID HE WAS A CHIMNEY SWEEPER..WANTED TO KNOW IF I NEEDED MY CHIMNEY CLEANED. I HUNG UP, AND SAID NO THANKS...THE MAN KEEPS CALLING..I DO NOT PICK UP ANYMORE WITH THIS NUMBER...THEY DO NOT LEAVE A MESSAGE.I JUST SEE THE NUMBER ON MY ID.

Hangs up.  You call back and it's a non working number

He said his name was Joe, from some chimmeny service, I said I don't need any chimney service brother, he said I'm not your [***] Brother and hung up. I tried calling Joey back and said it couldn't be reached.
