Did not recognize caller number so did not answer.

they took controle of my computer and phone and stole information called back and beep beep beep was going on

It's a computer hacker. Dont give him access to your  computer. They say he works for Microsoft.  See phone number 417-732-4864 it's the same person .

Called me a month ago. Called him 10 times for his corporate number. He would not give it. Said he was corporate Cincinnati Ohio. Last time I called he said I was harassing him and would call the police. I said great.. Called one more time and he blocked my call. This is  1-844-4640.

Just got home from work at ten pm or I would have challenged him again for how ever long it took!!!

Messed with him for a good 20 minutes....he got so pissed and started screaming at me.....I was laughing the entire time.  Got to love these idiots

Calls more than once a day and even after 9pm.  No messages left.  We don't answer calls that say "name unavailable"
This started just a few days ago.

Who ever calls does not say a word; they just wait until I talk and then hang uop. They call more than 10 times a day at different hours.

Called 5 times in the last 2 days. They never leave a message so I blocked the number but they still keep calling all different times of the day. What a pain in the

This one has called 8 times in the last 3 days, the most recent was at 9:46 PM tonight.  No message, of course.  Added to the blocked list.

They say they're calling from Microsoft and that there is a information on your PC that can harm it and they want you to go to your PC so they can remote in and clean it out. "yeah Right" they are hackers trying to steal information from your PC.

I get calls early in the morning, some during the day and some even after 9 p m . Very frustrating !

I keep getting calls from (516) 990-9988. They call at all times of the day and night. I don't answer calls from numbers I don't recognize, so I never pick up. Googled the number and found this site. Added to Auto Reject list.

I did not recognize the phone number 516-990-9988 so I did not answer. I have received about 7 calls from this number in the last 3 days on my cell phone. I am tempted to answer just to give these [***] a bit of payback. What mutants.

This 5169909988, calls repeatedly. Starts early morning, ends after 10pm. Hacker!

I keep getting calls from this # 516-990-9988, I answer and they Hang-up.
If I redial, I get the message, "They are out of Service".
So how the Hell am I getting calls from a Number that's Out of Service.
I wish the Phone Company would straighten this Nonsense out.

Just blocked this one, a day in the life...

It's a spoofed number.  The caller is calling from another number and they spoof, via technical means, a different number that appears on caller id.  A very common technique to disguise the number of the true caller.

I also received a call from this number from someone claiming to be from the Microsoft Service Department.  It's an attempt to convince you to give a criminal control of your computer so the criminal can steal information, or hold control for ransom.  The caller will claim that he / she can confirm that they have identified a problem for your computer and will provide you with your  unique  'license number'.  The number is actually a software identifier that is the same for all Windows computers.  It is not in any way identify a specific computer.   When I get these calls, if I have nothing better to do, I like to string them along.  After a bit they will give up, or I will get bored and just hang up.
