I get called, they reach the answering machine, and leave a message about calling from NY State to conduct a health survey. And would call back in a couple weeks. Definitely sounds like some kind of scam.

Called and left an incoherent message on the answer machine.

Called again tonight. They said that they were conducting a survey regarding health. I told them that I have already asked to be put on their do not call list. She said they do not have a do not call list. I told her to just stop calling as it was now harrassment.

Phone surveys are not required to scrub their lists against the DNC registry, nor are they required to have DNC lists.  They are not regulated in any form or fashion.  Honest surveys will honor your request for them to stop calling.

who ever these scammers are they are persistant, I told the woman 3 weeks ago not to call again, since then she has called 8 times.. either these people are STUPId or just plain des[perate!! this last time I swore at hyer, she said I can't do that, told her she cant call the phone I pay for, if she calls again, I will just keep calling her nasty names.. eventually she may take a hint!~

Been calling daily for a few weeks now, actually ten times since the 12th. Today I answered it with "upstate fraud division how may I help you?" And she stuttered a little and said "I think I have the wrong number" I said "I think so".... lol.... They are relentless

Constantly calling. Left message first time and on another occasion. Yes, caller said for a survey for DOH. Area code is central NYS.
Gotta be a scam. Calls on Saturday after 8pm. Messages were spoken so quickly they remind me of bad boiler room operations.
This number going on my block list.

I have gotten several calls from a different number (518-217-5813).  There have been different people who identify themselves as calling from the NYSDOH.  I have not given them any information. I just hang up.  The really strange thing is that the caller ID is coming up with the name of a local mammogram provider that has a completely different number.

(518)217-2193Calls on cell phone. I don't ans. calls from "unknown callers".  To check I Call back from land line and recording says NYE CDC Behavior Risk etc. (BRFSS) to take a survey. No human beings to talk to. Annoying on my emergency only pre-paid phone especially disruptive while trying to work.

They have called me at least 6 times in the past week. I am suspicious of whether this is legit. Being that health information is protected by HIPPA, I don't see how this can be. How can I find out?

Called my cell phone yesterday 2/7/2019 - I didn't answer since it wasn't in my 'contacts'.

Don’t answer then just block

Caller left a vm stating he was from the NYS Dept of Health. He left a call back number of 855-276-3504.  Not comfortable answering the phone any more, especially to answer survey questions. Phone trust is completely destroyed because of the scammers.
