I was almost scammed by this person.Saying they had a rental house in Surprise AZ. DO NOT TRUST THEM.They also said they worked for the USAID B.S.

Scam artist, offering Low rent all bills paid houses all over, ---Cleburne Tx!!

I inquired on a rental property listed on Craig's List in Amarillo, TX.  Low rent in an area where the rent should have been double!  The scammer sent me an email back with this phone number.  With getting a bad gut feeling, I decided to start checking and found these posts for this number.  The scammer said he works in Columbus, OH for USAID.  Thankfully, no money was lost, but my cousin, who is a realtor, said that this stuff happens a lot and people lose a lot of money on scam rentals.  Pay attention, don't send money to anyone without having met them in person, and do some googling if you are unsure of a property.  The property I was looking at is an active listing with the realty company my cousin works for--awesome coincidence because she could dig deeper for me and confirmed my suspicions.

I emailed the same person with same number. He claim to have a house in lawton,ok for cheap which the rent is double the price. I finally call the realtor ti see if they have the house listed with them and it was true,this very same person almost scammed me and my husband. I knew my instinct was right when he said if i dont recieve the lease in the email juat wait until we send the deposit and he will send a hard copy of the lease. Right then i knew this wasn't right at all. Thank Gode we didnt give him any money either!

Watch out for this Calvin Lott...I got the same email after responding to his craigslist posting.

This same person had posted a listing for a house in douglasville ga on craiglist. I got the same email response as i see in a previous comment above. The actual house is renting through a realtor for double the price. What a disappointment.
