Called my house two nights ago and didn't leave any message.  Unfortunately charities are exempt from the DNC list, but many are scams.  Even legit ones keep a portion of the proceeds.  I just keep blocking every one of them.

I received a call from this number, which is no not in use, and it was from someone named "Ackbar." Made me laugh out loud.

Attorney General's Office? Don't waste your time,

They are not really calling from Elizabethtown, NY. I doubt that they are calling from anywhere in the U.S. That's one of the reasons our government doesn't do anything about these frequent attempts to get your money. If you use Caller ID instead of VM and never answer #'s unknown to you, they will stop calling  eventually. I mean 99% of the weasels will stop. There apparently is one slow learner in the pack.

   Just looking to see ---- How did that "option to stop their calls" work out?  It's been a few months so their calls should start back up soon.  You could have given this # up by now, and now they would be getting a new "Sucker" to answer. Just checking because for Most people this opt-out is a failure.

I received a call from this number stating it was about my Time Warner cable bill. Was asking for my SS #. I asked to talk to a customer service person n he said he had to look up why they called me n he ended up hanging up on me. It's a SCAM as I do not even have a time warner account. DO NOT GIVE THEM ANY INFO
