Received call again from 519-570-4223.  When you dial back the recorded operator says "We're sorry the number you have reached is not in service...." Then how come this number called??????

Yea... I did a *69 and got this #, looked it up on this site. They don't leave a message and I didn't bother to call them back. Frustrating! CARE

whats going on same thing happened to me

Called at 8:11pm. Caller asked me to participate in a survey on behalf of CAA Auto Club. They had my name and obviously my phone number, I am a member. They claimed this was an anonymous survey. First question: what is your year of birth ? Second question: What is your ethnic background ? At that point I indicated these were not useful to an auto club business and refused to answer. They ended the "survey", having no other questions to ask. I will call CAA and confirm if they run these surveys. On the affirmative I will cancel my subscription.

Three calls in three days, all from different companies, all using the same number.

One was a marketing survey from Petro-Canada.
One was a marketing survey from Sears.
One was a personal call from a business associate in California.

This number is obviously used by multiple companies -- it's likely a voice-over-IP gateway number for the Kitchener area.  This would explain why attempting to call back gives a "this number is not in service" recording -- it's an outbound number only.

Are they back at it?

I received a call from this number on my cellphone but didn't happen to answer......I've been trying to check up on it but had no information until I found this website......they called me at 6:01pm tonight.

You know, after watching the newest Live Free or Die Hard, it makes you wonder that if you do answer that there goes your whole life in the hands of some hacker.  It's scary and really have to watch because this kind of stuff happens all the time.

I have had this number call several times and no one is ever there.  Same not in service when you call back.  The number is owned by Sprint Canada and is a telemarketing portal.  The parent number for this one is 519-570-4974 but it also is a portal.  I didn't look into it any further.

Called me when i was sleeping off a night shift. Around 10 am that is. I guess i must have answered. But i dont think anyone was there. Got 3 calls in around 30 mins this was the last one. One was a blocked number and the other was another 570 number. I was worried i had hung up on a potential boss. But good to see it doesnt look like it.

Called me at work in the a.m., bypassing the main number to land directly at my extension, but left no message.  Since Sprint was mentioned earlier, I wonder if my call at least was from Rogers Communications (I deal with them from time to time in the course of my work).

This number seems to be a local termination point for a long distance carrier.  I just received a call from someone in Harrington, DE who's number was actually in the 302 area code.  So, obviously, the carrier is using whatever mode they can to get the call to this area, and then it comes "out" to the local phone network as 519-570-4223.

Got a call from this number today around 3pm. No recorded message, no nothing. Just dead air when I answered the phone.
