No directory information available on reverse lookup, other than "london, Ontario"

Its actually Citi Mastercard Canada

Call is from US Citi Mastercard Security Department checking for fraud use of the credit card

The number is used by CCSC - also known as Citi Commerce Solutions of Canada Inc.
They manage Ikea and Home Depot credit card accounts just to name a few.

Number used by CITI Bank credit cards also use 800-361-5205, 866-659-2629,
877-250-2751, 800-463-7627. Pay now of they will ring until your phone goes up in smoke.

For me it was CITI MasterCard calling to ask if some recent charges were legitimate.  As a rule I never give any info like card number to someone who calls me.  I call them back, and not with the number they leave.  I call the number on the back of the credit card - that is the only way to be sure I am talking to CITI Bank.

I was suspicious of the call from this number stating they were Citibank Mastercard. The call was to verify some info on my Citicard credit application.  I called Citibank at another number to confirm they had actually called me.  I was told they in fact had called and they gave me the time of the call.

No one is on the line when I answer the call, yet the line is open.

Called this number back.. as I wasn't home when they called and they did not leave a message... the phone just kept ringing and ringing.
