I received an email from BRITCO CONSULTING, offering a job,it looked legitimate but it the email was poorly worded upon closer inspection, and it indicates their company is in Windsor however when I call the above number it comes up as a Brantford number and all I get is a recording of a British man saying alll operators are busy please call again later.     Now the so called woman that emailed me originally is bugging me to complete an employee info form, to return to her, in order for me to get this "job"   I am very suspicious of this.

Same here; skeptical from the beginning but answered...; today I received the same info form along with a picture ID with info request; not happening. Going with my gut on this one.

I've also received the email, for the second time no doubt.  I'm convinced it is fraudulent in some way or somehow or other a ripoff.  I just can't find any real information on their company, looking it up all I get is Britco construction over in BC or otherwise state-side firms...

As far as I can tell, they exist in name only, that or they're run out of a condo...

I am in London. I have a copy of the contract. Several minor violations of the Ontario Labour Relations Act proposed. Who signs anything before the first interview? The email and contract have some weird phrasing in them. $50 a day for 5 days probation paid by "Interact." Who says interact? Whoever signs up with them should 1. use a different bank account than the one you normally use, give them a bogus SIN number, maybe with one or two digits wrong so they can't use it to mess up your credit rating. Once you are confident they are legit then correct the "error". All these articles on Britco I could find via Google are either about a business in Florida or BC that are legitimate or they are pretty pictures of industrial settings... nothing solid.

Sending me emails to start up job with them as they asked me to sign a contract even before any interview. I found it fake... not wasting my time on this.

Definitely scam. I called the number like 3 times, and emailed back saying i would like to speak to them directly on the phone and they emailed me back saying " I arrange a phone interview with you to explain everything in detail, after you provide me all the necessary documents" not to mention I live 60 hours away from said company but they are willing to hire me over the internet and have me work at home. such crap

Also got an email today.  A search of the leadership team reveals a (seemingly) real website for WG Consulting in Houston, TX.  It would seem that they've cloned the TX website, though they didn't include all of WG's leadership team as their own.

I got an email from them as well. What would one do if they fell for it? I am embarrassed to say that I did. And now I am worried and tried to recall my email.

I too have been in contact with Britco, I have done some research on the company. from Windsor Ont. since 2005 , nothing at BB about the company. Talked to a lady on the phone "interview" the only question she asked was do I understand the first  task. Have not been able to get information fro any company who has done business with them. have forwarded my contract to someone who is going to look into it further for me.  I received an email after I applied locally for a job. I live in BC
