I didn't recognize the number and let it go to voice mail. When going to listen to the message, you can tell it's a recorded voice because it starts talking in the middle of the sentence. It claims that I immediately have to call it back and if not I will have to 'face the consequences' but won't say why they're calling.

Recorded message, claiming its the CRA. his name was 'dave something'. obvious scam.

David Ramirez from the CRA. A recorded message. It said my lawyer or I have to call them back 'right away' or there will be legal consequences. Very obviously a scam.

The caller is "David Ramirez" of CRA. I don't know how the CRA would be able to find me at work because I have never given them my work number!

Left a partially completed voicemail saying if I didn't call back they'd unfold a legal fury on me. Quoted:
"..on the race?. Our direct line number will be 519-900-1622. I repeat it's 519-900-1622. Don't disregard this message and do return the call. If I don't hear from you or your attorney either then the legal situation unfolds on you. Have a nice day. Goodbye.

I received this same call from this pathetic officer Ramirez lol  .. I phoned back to tell him I was forwarding this recording of him to rcmp he like the coward he is hung up .. this guy needs to go to jail for this ..I’m from Alberta by the way .. and we don’t put up with this type of immigrant scam.

I phoned this person back and told him I was reporting him to anti fraud Center of Canada through the rcmp ..this type of scam Is dangerous to weak people who are either new comers to Canada our who believe this person. One question though.  Does the RCMP have jurisdiction in the United States, and can they deport me even though I am a US citizen?  If so, where will they deport me to?  The US?  Seems like a waste of resources if you ask me.  Of course nothing is more idiotic than you claim that you have my IP address, which by the way would only get you in the general area of where I might or might not live.  Then you only have to wade through a couple hundred thousand people to find me.  Piece of cake for someone as brilliant as you are.  Go back under your rock troll.
