They're getting more clever. Now instead of "TOLL FREE" or "Wireless" they are now showing up as "SUPPORT LINE." Folks, it's just to see if the number is live. That's why you don't hear anything. They then sell that live number and sell that live number and sell that live number and they will continue to call until you die. Nothing will stop them. Occasionally some sucker takes the bait about the loan, or their computer virus or whatever.

Yep, they just called me wanting to extend the warranty on my vasectomy.  Silly spammer I didn't have one!

Automated recording: "Attention: this message is for business owners looking for a cash advance..."  I am receiving multiple calls a day just like this from different cities in different states.  Tired of it!

Called my cell, did not leave a message.  Trucker identified it as credit card scam. Blocked it.

This number called my phone today. I didn't answer since I don't know the number. And since they left no message, and after reviewing the postings here, number is BLOCKED.

Auto warranty nonsense.  Yeah, right.  My car manufacturer only contacts me the old-fashioned way -- by legitimate snail mail!

This phone number is not an active number so it is more then likely a fake number a collection chose to display in their caller ID. Why are they choosing a fake number? Because it is illegal. The purpose of this cal[ is to 1. See if we answer or 2. To see if this phone number is active.  DON'T ANSWER ANY NUMBER YOU DON'T KNOW.

Received call on work number, said my greeting, silence, said my greeting a second time and the line disconnected. Likely a robo-call to identify the times my number is answered. anticipate an increase in scam calls.

Called this AM. May have new schtick - Caller ID said "Support Line" - I suppose they're hoping that the recipient feels he/she is in need of support of some kind. We're not. Did not leave message. BTW, I doubt if the calls are really from Tombstone, AZ. I've been there; lots of fun tourist traps, great museum, a real Boot Hill. But not a telemarketing haven.

5/4/17 I received the call about 8:10a, I missed the call then I called back, the phone rung about 12 times then the call disconnected. Most likely a scammer.

Credit card scam

The number called me I picked up and said hello it was quiet then the line went dead I called back several times and got the same error message saying the number was not in service. This number has called me several times.
