This number keeps calling and never leaves a message.

This number has called me FOUR times in the past 24 hours, I finally answered it...message about "my" timeshare.. pressed 1 like I was interested... company name is "Vacation Consultants" - told them to take me off the list.

Indeed a scam, which I've learned is known to Federal and State authorities and the BBB.  Problem is that none of these can determine just who is behind it (it may be a "spoofed" number programmed into their automatic dialer (such dialers are illegal in Arizona and many other states).  YOU CANNOT TALK TO A HUMAN -- they are all recordings that involve "time shares", "back braces" or "rental property".  Entering an option to be removed from their calling list only results in severe escalation of the frequency of the calls (ie., harassment).  "Blocking" or "Rejecting" the calls may not work depending  your phone equipment and/or provider.

You were lucky to get a human being ... 99% of attempts to speak with a human generate another recording.  I, also, have had 4 of these calls in the past 24 hours, and since late March 2016 approx. 30+ calls.

BTW, "Vacation Consultants" is a dubious company which came up on national TV news last week.  It is a pure scam to the core.

Kept getting calls (at first once a day then yesterday they called at 9am, 10:15am, and 4:06pm).  Yesterday i answered 2 of the calls and both were prerecorded message telling me they had some important information about my timeshare... which I don't own.

These scammers have been contacting both my home and cell numbers since March 2016, now more that 100 calls to date.   In my case it
is their "time share" scam (I do not own a time share).  The recording attempts to scare people into believing that recent changes in Federal Law will seriously compromise their time share.  They are violating Arizona's prohibition against using automatic dialers for marketing
purposes.  When I made the mistake of using my home phone and pressing "9" to be removed from their call list(s). they captured my home
phone number and began call that phone also.  Both of my phone numbers have been on the National Do Not Call Registry since 2003.   At the FTC's NDNCR, a fine of $1000 per violation may be imposed, so this scammer is now over $100,000 in potential fines.   It does no good to "block" them on either phone.  All that does is prevent the phone from ringing, but then their lengthy recording rolls over to voicemail and in a short period fills up the voicemail so that legitimate callers cannot leave a voicemail.  Attempts to call them back result in another recording stating "There is nobody to take your call, try again later."  If  you press "1" for more information you get a similar recording.  However, on May 19, 2016 I got  my call to go through,  It was answered by someone named "Bryce"  who proceeded to try to sell me a week at a time share property.  He said nothing about "changes in the law effecting your time share" as did the original recording.  I played along to lead him to believe that I was interested.  When he asked for a credit card  number to "show good faith", I interrupted him stating
that I had never owned a time share, and was not interested in renting one.  He hung up the phone.  As a side note, Federal and State
authorities along with the BBB seem to care less about the scammer's law violations:  The FTC, the Arizona Attorney General, and BBB.
NOTE: When I luckily got through on May 19 I was transferred to another number which I was able to receive on my home telephone equipment:  That number is (520) 762-4224 which is directly related to (520) 371-5162.  If you get called, report these slime bags.
In addition to the caller-id info (below), the calls usually appear on the caller-id as "Casa Grande, AZ".  The number ending "5162" comes back to a cell phone company in Casa Grande, but according to that company the number is currently "unassigned".  It is therefore a "spoofed" number that the scammer is using to hide true identity.  The other number ending 4224 comes back to a working number in "Casas Adobes, AZ" (a suburb of Tucson), but there is no name associated with it.

Incredibly, although the So. Ariz. BBB has told me that they are aware of this scam (which also goes by the name of "Vacation Consultants" in AZ, NV and CA, it is impossible to file a complaint (or an "alert") with the BBB.   REASON: The BBB website (1) does not contain any of the names used by the scammer(s), and (2) out of 40 languages listed, English is not one of them.  Both of these shortcomings prevent anyone from completing a BBB complaint.  FURTHER:

The local Pima County Sheriff Dept. will not take a complaint (ie, provide a case number) regarding the scammer(s) because their true
identity (company name or person name) is not known!   So a consumer is totally left "holding the bag" with no place to turn, not even being able to block their phones from these scum bags.  As stated in the previous post, both Federal and State (AZ) will do nothing other than file the complaint.  Good luck to all victims of this scammer!   Looks like victims should be changing their phone numbers.  What are poor citizens to do?

These pests have started up again.  Robo call about a back brace I saw in a TV commercial. No company name given so I just hung up. CID says CASA GRANDE

Monday morning at 10:30 am called, left no message, and hung up. Date is 10/31/16 so they're stull at it.  I have no back problem, no time share either.  Phishing, that's all.

Has called three times today so far. Spam call's do not answer.

Didn't answer, no message, blocking after reading all of these complaints. I am glad we all take time to fill these out and share the BS!

Call multiple times a day, even late in the evening but can never answer the call. They never leave a message but call me relentlessly and when I call back, it's "all circuits are busy."

I just got two more calls within 2 minutes of each other! stupid annoying pests need to be shut down. Unbelievable!

This number called my cell phone several times yesterday and they are at it again today.  Noted a time share spammer has been calling my home phone and leaving messages the past few days as well.  Home phone goes directly to answering machine since we disconnected the bell ringer...  :o)   Will not dial *69 as it is now $2.25 per request now...  I'm ignoring the cell phone callers who I do not recognize

Getting calls from 520-371-5162, Casa Grande, AZ, starting on 10-31-16.  Calls several times daily.  I do not answer.  Very annoying.  Unbelievable that government can't figure out who this is and stop it with all the complaints I'm seeing.

This number calls me an average of 4-6 times a day.  I never answer numbers I don't recognize.  They never leave a message. It really is infuriating that our government can't do more to stop these morons since they (the government)  initiated the Do Not Call List in the first place.
