Called my work number while I was on another call and when I didn't answer, they called my cell phone.  I figured that it must be important, so I tried calling back and it says the number is not in service.  I'm sure after reading these comments that they will call back eventually.  Pisses me off.  You can't even report these people and have anything done about them.  What a waste of time

Called a couple of times in the past month. Yesterday, they called and as soon as I heard "Microsoft Windows," I knew it was a scam. I am a computer teacher and have some elderly clients who got scammed by them. I proceeded to give him an earful...screaming at him that I have clients who have been scammed by his company and that he should be ashamed of himself.  He hung up.

As soon as I say I'm retired from NBA they get this lump in their throat. Priceless.

Company claimed to want to fix my fathers PC.  They got in, and now he's spending $250 to wipe the computer and start over.

9 AM on the dot, they called.  I knew better but still felt compelled to pick up and "play".  Finally told him to google the number that he was using and told him of course he couldn't because he did not know which number he used because last week his brothers called from different numbers and it was a scam and he said "oh really, if it is such a scam why don't you go f**k yourself. "  He continued talking but I had immediately hit the star key, keeping my finger on it.  No matter, no more games for me.  I had received calls from this number before.  You can block THAT number, but they will just use another.  If I don't answer, and machine picks up, they just will call again.  It is hopeless.  Total Catch 22.  No way the government can fix this and they have more important things to do.  So we just have to suck it up.

Called from this number less than a week after upgrading my old lap top to the free Windows 10 to try it out. Said my computer was infected. I asked what the infection was. My Son is a programmer and repairs computers. I at first fell for it because they said they were from Microsoft and I had just installed Windows 10. Realizing she spoke very broken English and I have good virus and malware protection I decided to end the call. Our phone service doesn't have call blocking so they called for another 2 weeks but we didn't answer.

The Vultures called this morning with the computer scam.  I told them my husband has my computer and they should call him at work.  I gave them number for the Police Department and to ask for Mr. BOLO.  They said they would call him.  I sure hope so and they get their Vulture feathers plucked.

I live in Norway. They called me on Saturday. I did not answer.

I actually live in Norway and recieved a phonecall from this number today. I have no idea how they got my number, therefor I did not answer. Its not normal getting a random call from the states, so i kinda knew it was a scam. Checked my messages since they left one, and all I could hear was alot of people talking in the distance.

A woman with and Indian-English accent called me and said my computer was sending her company lots of warnings. She told me to log on my windows computer, and I told her that I didn't have it on me. She then said my computer would shut down in two hours if I didn't get help from them. I asked where she got my number from, and she said that it was connected with my windows computer. The funny thing is that the computer is owned by my school, and it is not in any way connected with my name and number. I told her to call me in 10 minutes, and as soon as we hung up, I blocked the number!
