Caller ID says Home security but no one answered when I said hello.

Oregon, really????  Rang once, now blocked.....

Holy moly!  I've received 3 calls today from 3 different numbers about a home security system.
This is the latest one.  Of course, I didn't answer & of course they hung on my answer machine, leaving a long dial tone that I need to delete off my machine.  What a pain in the behind.
Caller ID actually says, this time, "Home Security", while the others said other names.
Another block I have to do.  The 6th time in 3 days.  What is it with all these new numbers calling?

They called just as I was getting ready to activate my home security system on my way out the door.  They did not leave a message, but somehow managed to tie up the line so that when I came home 30 minutes later, the phone said "Line in use" and I had to disconnect the base to reset it.

Saying. It's home security not sure why these people call. Don't need a crappy security system.I don't live in their state that's calling from.Could be a bogus call coming from a boiler room.They need to stop this nonsense off.

home security on i.d. i don't answer calls i don't know who they are. just another scam for another day. they didn't leave a message and i had to reset my machine.

called at 2:34pm Eastern time, didn't answer, left no message, added to android's auto-reject list.

It has been one nuisance call after another!!!!!  We do not answer calls we do not know!!!!  Hung up on this unwanted call!!!!!  So fed up w/these calls!!!!

They called at 3:14 pm E.T. to my Verizon landline and didn't leave a message. Verizon must stop selling our phone numbers.

Called about 2:55pm EST to my cell. Didn't leave a voicemail.  Also called back around July 18th.  I have them on auto-reject.

Pure low-life SCUMBAGS are doing this more all the time. Another one blocked. They need their phone stuck up (you know where)...

Called me twice. No one on the line when I picked up.

Another nuisance call!!!!  Jacksonville, OR.  We do not answer these calls!!!  If we do not know who this is, we do not answer.  These nuisance calls start up in the evening!!!

I got the call on 19th Sept. Saturday.  I usually don't answer but today I answered thinking someone else call.
The lady wants to install $1500 home security system for free in my house!  They want to experiment it with the local police department.
I told her that we already have 24 hour security and hanged the phone.  IT IS A FRAUD.  MUST BE A TRAP.

Person called saying he was working with the local police and he wanted to set up an appointment, as burgerlers are finding ways around system by cutting the wires.  I told him I'd recently had the police check my system and I was in good shape.  He said that's great and hung up.

Shows up as Home Security. Info provided online says they are in Jacksonville, Oregon. My number is on Do Not Call List. No response whne I answered. When I called back left on hold until finally a recorded, good-bye.  Have reported them to authorities.
