It's DCS - if you have a student loan that is behind in payments and they have sent you to a collection agency it's them.  They are VERY helpful so don't be worried about answering the phone.  My check did not clear and they called to see if the second attempt would clear and that was it.

They probably won't leave a message but will call you repeatedly.  If you owe on your student loan it's best to talk to them.  They were very helpful and worked with me on repayment

"Shelia" probably works for this company as this her exact or very similar worded messages appear on multiple sites under different names.

I don't work for the company but have not had any problems with them.  They do have trouble returning calls but they were decent when I've talked to them.

After reading Sheila's response, I recognized immediately who they were & called them back.  They attempted to leave me a voicemail but the system wouldn't recognize them speaking. Turned out my card had expired & they were attempting to notify me that my auto deduction was being rejected!

"Sheila" made her shill posts here in 2010.  Debt collectors must provide you a way to call back without paying for it.  A 541 area code won't provide that.  There is also no guarantee that the alleged debt collector is actually using this number or that it might be spoofed by someone pretending to be these crooks.  I notice you failed to name this debt collector.  Why is that?

Performanc collection agency out of california. They are collecting on student loan debt.

Then why are they using an Oregon phone number?  Why are they calling you?
