    Same thing said he paid for item sent $600 more said it was for shipping that I was to send it to the shipping company before I got my payment . Text came from New York on Craig's list item

    Craigslist Scam.... Asked me for my name and address and that he was going to send me a check for $2800 for my Dining Room Set that I was selling for $850....who does that??? Anyways, asked that once the check cleared, that I give the remaining $$ to the delivery guys.  Why would someone waste their time with this? I don't get the scam, but I think common sense says something is really fishy.
