They called at 9pm.  No message left but they wait until after the voice recorder activates before hanging up.  Typical robo dialer.

Called I did not answer.  The answering machine picked up.  An automated call left a message asking if I voted in the general election.  Press 1 for yes, 2 for no.  That was it.  What is the purpose of such a call?  Only thing I can think of is someone is trying to create a list of active phone numbers to sell.

This is most likely a scam and robocall. Report the number to the Federal Trade Commision at ftc.gov and the Federal Communications Commission at fcc.gov

Left message on answering machine asking if plan to vote in next election.  First call from this number.

Keeps calling at dinner time, two times in a row. Disruptive. Not interested in answering my phone from unwanted/unknown callers. Panasonic phone blocks them after one ring, gone. I will continue to block these jerks indefinitely.

I answer phones for a 24/7 business, and this number keeps calling every night. Having to stop what I am doing thinking a customer needs after hours service only to hear a Robo call is torture!!! The recording says something about a few questions about voting

Robo. Called twice.

Dems must be worried.  They have hired media bots calling all day wanting to know if you'll vote and who for, Rep or Dem.

There are such things as scam callers who only want to establish 2 things. One, to confirm that yours is still an active number, and two, what time you answer the phone.  Then they sell that data to other spam callers.  I  was foolish enough to answer the phone a few years ago, and the phone Still rings at about the time I picked it up.  Tempting as it is to answer sometimes, there's a risk.
4/3/18, 7:23 PM.  Call from 559-306- 0231.  Caller ID said, "Out of area."  No message.

Simply having the phone ring would be enough to establish that it was an active number.  This whole "sell data" thing is one really strange fairy tale.  They can dial thousands of numbers a minute for nothing or next to nothing using a simple computer program.  They don't need to know when you are home because the numbers rotate and are dialed again and again.  So, considering that fact why would they spend the extra money?
