You may want to report any unscrupulous and/or harassing practices to the Florida Bar, who takes complaints from citizens regarding attorneys. Google "The Florida Bar" for the bar's webite and phone number.

They call my number repeatedly and never leave a message. Not sure what they want but when you try and call them back you might as well forget it, you get put on hold and no one comes back on the line.

This Law Firm is a debt collector for Boca Raton Community Hosp. I think they bought the charged off debt or were hired by a company to collect the charged off debt. I worked out a deal with them and then after I was paying, they kept harassing me for more money and told me I should get my tax refund and pay them. VERY RUDE! LIARS! I am reporting them to the Florida Bar for harassment as everyone who is being harassed by them should do.

I called to dettle a judgement and my orginal attorney must have sold them the judegment. When I call this law office, they say my debt is much higher than what it was. I do not know what to do, because I really want to get this judgment taken care of, but am afraid to deal with them, after reading all these comments. What should I do?

Shafritz and Braten, P.A. are rude! I called to find out what this "bill" is all about and they gave me information about some hospital bill from 2004! I told her I didn't want to deal with her and would rather deal with paying the hospital directly (if in fact there is even a bill) and she replied by saying, "why are you acting all crazy?" what?!?! I told her if I was acting crazy I wouldn't be speaking to her calmly. I think she's upset because they will no longer be receiving my payment for a bill that I know nothing about! I told her she was rude and what she said was uncalled for. She kept attempting to interrupt me and didn't want to hear anything I have to say. I let her know that I will be speaking to Scott D. Got a call at WORK from this number from David Marshall. Very fast talker, wanting to strike a deal right away over the phone. I don't think so! They are based out of Palm Beach County, Florida. Delray Beach to be exact. I used to live about 5 minutes from their offices @ 25 Seabreeze ave. #400, 33483. Maybe I should send an old FRIEND by there to be rude to them? We'll see. I'm contacting the Florida Bar Assn. to report their forcefulness and rudeness, regardless if they sub-contract debt collectors!

I received a call from this law firm. shafritz and braten. I thought it was a scam. I finally called them and it was regarding a huge hospital bill I owed. I spoke to a Mr. Marshall here. told me he was a legal asst to the attorneys. anyway he gave me a great deal on an old bill I owed and saved me a few thousand bucks!!!!. He wasnt the nicest guy but whatever. the hell with collectors anyway!!!

There is a statute of limitations even for the bills you owe. Check it out

Having the same problem here...very Rude man that call, they try and strong arm people had me so upset I got on here to do a reverse phone lookup and to google there name so glad I ran across this

Just got off the phone with a one rude David Marshall from  SHAFRITZ AND BRATEN...when you get off the phone with this man, even tho I was only taken a message you want to move or hide, bad enough I had to get on the computer and lookup this company and there phone #...Is there a way to get them to stop?

This company is a debt collector and they are very harrassing.They hide behind the name of attorneys Shafritz and Brat .They never eben have valid data and I woudl not even respond to them if you receive a call. Report them to teh Florida Bar as well

Got a call today from this # Message said they are from the Sheriffs office, and they will collect debt I have with a hospital in Lehigh Acres.I called back the number and got a robot , I know thats a insane Debt collector from Palm Beach. Will report them and hope sheriffs will be pissed off, as they scary people in the name of Law.
